HanCook Korean Restaurant, Desa Sri Hartamas

Once again, I had a meeting with my beloved Elayne jie and her family to become our "driver" to take us to our destination. Therefore, I must repay them with a good lunch. The place is Hancook which is a Korean Restaurant.
Plenty of side dishes which is quite promising for us but only a few of them are my favorites.
Salad with vinegar which is pretty appetizing enough to start our meat feast.

Overall: 2/5 - Ordinary stewed Kimchi soup. Very few meat can be found. Just kimchi and tofu. It is better to be served as side dish. As for the taste, it is quite spicy and that's all.

This is where to grill their meat. Their original air ventilator is not working.

Overall: 3/5 - Pork belly is still my favorite meat to choose no matter where I go. They are just so delicious. One thing I find that the portion given by this restaurant is quite small. Look at the plate above, that's all?

Overall: 3/5 - The taste is mediocre because this pork neck meat has more meat than fat. So it tends to feel queasy if eating too much.

Lastly, we are having a marinated pork rib which is done a little bad...which later you can see from the picture.

Overall: 2/5 - It is over grilled and the burn is easily been seen all over the meat. It should be taste really good but too bad that the burn taste has bring bitter taste into it.

Finally, we are served with their Sikhye for free. Sikhye is a traditional Korean beverage made with barley malt powder (yeotkiereum 엿기름) and rice. The taste is sweet and cold, with its own particular subtle flavor coming from barley malt. I love sikhye because of the flavor! Without the flavor, it will be like a bowl of sweet water and rice.
Overall, this restaurant serves a very small portion of meat but at a very high price and their grilling skill is not really that good. Somehow, I do not really recommend this restaurant.
