Yorokobi Art Cafe, Workshop & Gallery, Sri Petaling
It is located at the first floor. The ground floor is still remained vacant as of date. |
The cafe is not really big because it is divided into two which are the cafe which is the reason I am here for and the other one is the art gallery. |
This is some of the art done by the kids. I find them really cute and interesting. What a great place for the kids to learn about art. |
Alright, back to the topic. They do serve food, drink and dessert. I can't believe such a small cafe can still serve so many things. |
With me that day was my 12 years long buddy, Ms. Kee. She just came back from Korea and I just came back from Lombok. Stay tuned with my post about Lombok soon! |
Matcha Affogato @RM8.50 |
Creativity: 4/5
Taste: 4/5
Price: 3/5
Overall: 3/5 - Got bored with vanilla ice cream so this time I tried their Matcha ice cream with an espresso shot in it. Turn out to be not a bad dessert too. Sometimes we just need to go for a little change in life to make our life more colorful.
Duck Confit Aglio Olio @RM18.00 |
Creativity: 3/5
Taste: 3/5
Price: 4/5
Overall: 3/5 - Spaghetti tossed in duck infused oil served with a 3 hours slow cooked duck leg. The spaghetti is a little too salty. I am not sure is it the saltiness comes from the cheese or the spaghetti soak too much salt water. Anyway, the duck confit is not bad at all. Crispy skin with tender meat without any gamey taste which some of the restaurants failed to get rid of the unpleasant taste.
Sticky Banoffee @RM13.00 |
Creativity: 4/5
Taste: 4/5
Price: 3/5
Overall: 3/5 - Looks like a parfait with ginger, banana, dates, cinnamon and peanuts. Yes, you have read it right. Ginger and dates are in it. These two rare ingredients in a dessert has made me hesitating for so long to order it. Since I am an adventurous guy, so I decided to order it and take it up as a challenge for me. Can you imagine how the taste might be? Surprisingly turned out to be amazing. The ginger is not so strong but it is enough to entice your taste bud to dig for more. The dates are sweet and cinnamon taste is the strongest among all. I was really awe by their creativity in getting the right combination in a dessert.
Food Serving Speed: Moderate
