Another hangout day with my Elayne Jie and her family. This time we had our gathering at Three Little Pigs & A Big Bad Wolf restaurant located at Tropicana City Mall. They have another branch at Bangsar Village I too. Since it is highly recommended by Elayne Jie, so why not giving it a try.
Let's begin with our menu. Very interesting menu which they try to make looks like a storybook. Their menu divided into two where the morning is Three Little Pigs while at night you will select the dishes from A Big Bad Wolf. Slightly different with their main course while some of it are still the same.
I would rather prefer the ambiance at the Bangsar Village I rather than this one. However, it is always crowded at Bangsar Village. Queuing up to eat is really annoying things to do. If you have a same thought like me, do consider dining at Tropicana City Mall instead.

Overall: 4/5 - It is highly recommended by my bro-in-law, Charles and I second it. No need any additional seasoning required because it is already strong enough. I like a mushroom soup with tiny bits to chew on and creamy smooth to flow down your throat. They did it just what I wanted. Perfect. I believe not many can accept the strong seasoning taste in it so please do take note of this.

Overall: 3/5 - It has thick cream and lots of ingredients in it but surprisingly after few bites of it I started to feel queasy. Most likely the cream is too thick and not fragrance enough.

Overall: 3/5 - By just eating the pork meat alone, it is way too salty. However, when you eat them all together with well toasted buttered bun. Note: You will wish you have a huge mouth!

Overall: 2/5 - Mediocre taste and the only thing catching my attention is the button mushrooms. Pretty common things which is not really a lot but cost the same as Mighty Piggy Burger. I would pick the burger instead.

Overall: 3/5 - I never believe a pork steak can be this good. The pork meat is so juicy and full of BBQ fragrance when everytime you chew on it. You gotta taste it yourself to believe.

To compare to other similar concept type of restaurants, this restaurant is priced slightly higher. I will come back to try their dinner menu to see any big difference for them to break the menu into two sessions.

Sports Shooting Club Hatyai (SSC)

Most of people think if you travel to Hatyai and not visiting their temples, you are just wasting your time at Hatyai. As for my personal opinion, if you come to Hatyai and did not go to Sports Shooting Club (SSC) Hatyai to experience the shooting experience with a real gun, I think you are not just wasting your time at Hatyai but you are wasting your time being a human. You only live once and there is no better way to understand these guns than coming over to SSC.   Their gun selections are enough to satisfy your urge. From rifle, pistols, revolvers to shotguns. You would be surprised that their rifle is the cheapest. The price is stated from 890 baht nett for a 15 rounds.  I have tried the rifle, beretta and this Smith and Wesson 4506 .45 ACP. This 45 is my favorite among all with 50m shooting range and 8+1 capacity. One of the most expensive gun to rent here. Basically you are shooting at the target paper like this. Champ's Bowling Centre, Sandakan

Not really much entertainment in Sandakan even though they are just beside the sea. No nice beach for water activities and the nearest island like Pulau Selingan and Turtle Island are about 90 minutes away. As for the town itself, basically is this bowling centre called Champ's which has a very nice and good condition bowling alley, bowling shoes and bowling bowls if to compare with bowling centres like in KL.  Not very big at all for their bowling centre which only has 12 lanes. Their shoes look so new! Here is a demonstration on how to bowl. Looks pro...I wonder how is the end result. So what do guys think? Is it a strike? They have a lounge here as well. And a cafe too! The price of the bowling is cost at RM4.80 per game per pax. We went at their most peak hours so their price basically has not much different than our KL City price. Have you ever stay in a Durian Farm before? No? At Bao Sheng Durian Farm, you can do it! This 6.7 acres durian farm has been established in Balik Pulau since 1959. It really took them full 60 years to get the fruit of their hard work. Their villa is well equipped with air-con, hot shower and LCD TV with hundreds of Blu-Ray quality movies in it! They have existing queen size or king size bed and extra bed can be requested. To get close and personal with the King of Fruit...the accommodation charges will be Deluxe Villa is charged at RM280/night and standard villa will cost you RM180/night. The first time I had my first black pepper Bak Kut Teh was at Sandakan. I never know there is one at Kuala Lumpur. I got to know it from Axian from his TV Programme, "Taste with Jason". The name of the restaurant is Kedai Makan Sek Me Choy. Even they have a space of three shop lots, their seats are still fully occupied. In the past, they were doing mining business. This is their old mining machine which they still keep it very well. Vegetable Rice @RM2.00 - You should try their vegetable which is very tasty. Merlion Park, Singapore

Driving in Singapore is really a pain especially the traffic congestion, parking hunting and speed cameras alert which is seems like everywhere. As for parking, weekdays parking is like vampire sucking all your money out from your wallet when the clock keeps ticking. Not just parking but their ERP toll is sucking the money out of your Autopass card too. However, I have realized that the best days to travel to Singapore is on weekends and especially on Sunday. ERP toll is free on Sundays. Parking rate are cheaper on Sundays and there are places are free parking too. Not much cars and peoples on the street on Sundays. Sunday is just perfect day at Singapore! Of course, if you plan to eat their buffets, Sunday will be not a suitable day as it will be super expensive. Kota Kinabalu doesn't have huge hawker center like you will see in Peninsular Malaysia or Kuching but I have to reckon that the best hawker center in Kota Kinabalu is in Kedai Kopi Lotus. Kedai Kopi Lotus themselves do serve their own food which was very terrible and beyond edible state. So do not eat anything from this restaurant. You just pick the stalls beside this restaurant. There are 4 stalls which I will introduce one by one to you but the only stall which will not be introduced is the stall which is selling Guo Tie ( a kind of dumplings) -  not my favorite. The best and the most popular stall of all is this chicken wing stall. Everyone is there lining up for them either taking away or dining there. You may need to wait for 15-20 minutes for it. What else you can do at Bukit Tinggi? After you past by the horse riding and rabbit farm, you will see a tol alike place where they will collect entrance fee. The charges are: Weekdays: RM10/pax (adult), RM8/pax (child) Weekends: RM12/pax (adult), RM10/pax (child) *child is 4-12 years old. Once you pay the entrance fee, you are able to access Japanese Tea House, Botanical Garden and Colmar Tropicale. Once you past by the tol alike, you will be facing a T junction where on your left is to Japanese Tea House and Botanical Garden while on your right is to Colmar Tropicale. At Kota Kinabalu, you may find Sheng Rou noodle is very common and famous among the local especially this Kedai Kopi Jia Siang which has a lot of customers roaming to their restaurant from day to night. Since they have a crowd like this, I have to make my point for it. Complimentary tofu for each ala-carte order. Tsate normal for me because I prefer a hot tofu.
