Every year I have to bring my wife to renew my visa and I will always have my lunch here at IOI City Mall. It is great to see all shops are opened inside IOI City Mall. This year, I visited Franco which is famous with their souffle and pancake. We ordered a set lunch which comes with this Minestrone, Carbonara Spagehtti and Vanilla Softee at RM18.77++. This soup is a little too sourish for my liking. They do have a lot of fancy drink which is made from Matcha. I have tried their ice blended style which cost me at RM13.96++. It turns out to be just an ordinary ice blended with a little matcha taste in it. Disappointing. Everyone knows that Sri Petaling has evolved into a food galleria. Every stone you throw in this area will surely hit a restaurant, cafe or a hawker stall. I am not exaggerating and if you are here before, you will surely understand what I mean. I wish I can finish exploring all the food here one day. However, I will start with this famous cafe which is known as 103 Coffee Workshop. They are mainly serving coffee and comes with Japanese cuisine with it.  It is a great place to have great family time, hangout and gathering. Look how much they were enjoying themselves here. The crowd is non-stop in here. Their food menu is very simple but still able to create this amount of crowd which is not bad at all. They are using premium coffee beans to serve their customers. A place where my boy able to be in awe like this is at Samira by Asian Terrace. Last time, it was a Japanese restaurant but because of the quality and bad customer service had caused them failing to survive. Now, it has become an Indochinese cuisine restaurant. The catching point of this restaurant is they have an amazing lake by the side of the restaurant. It has koi fishes in it. The restaurant does not have air-condition so during the day, the restaurant might be a little stuffy and hot. There will have more customers during at night. If you have been to Mount Austin, you will realized the outrageous amount of restaurants and cafes here. Sometimes, you don't even know which one to choose from even for a simple ice cream. In the end, I randomly chose an ice cream parlor which is known as New State which is located at the first floor. The environment in this cafe is quiet since not many patrons that have at that time especially they are located at the first floor. Normally, we only look for anything that is on the ground floor. I used to whine that Japanese cuisine in Johor Bahru is horrifying and disappointing until I meet Warakuya Japanese Garden at Mount Austin. From the exterior itself, this restaurant looks so grand and luxury. The first thing comes to my mind is the price will be hefty. However, when I saw the queue in front of the restaurant, I already doubt their price is going to be really expensive. I know people just loves good food but at the minimum price. Who doesn't anyway? One of the best part of the restaurant is they are providing 42" LCD TV, free flow of drinks and seating area for the queue. No, I am not in a farm. I am in the zoo and it is Zoo Melaka. The last time I was brought by my parents. Today, I am a parent myself bringing my family to this place again. I do not remember the old ticket price. I wonder if there is any increment but I believe it should be increased a little after so long. Right now the price is RM17.80 (adult) and RM7.10 (child). It is not really expensive if you are comparing with the nearest safari park at A Famosa Water Park which is cost over RM40/pax.  If you did not bring a stroller for your kids with you, do not worry. They have a stroller to rent which is just RM10 for the whole day. The condition of the stroller looks old and ugly but for my kid, he just love to be in it. So it is worthwhile. If your family doesn't really likes to walk under the merciless sun, you can opt for a buggy ride which is at RM100 for the first 45 minutes and RM75 for the subsequent hour.
