Tokyo Pastry @Avenue K

It is always an exciting feeling for me to meet up with my goddaughter especially on my birthday. It has been a very long time I have not been to Avenue K. It has changed so much especially there are so many restaurants here. We are almost spoiled with choices here and in the end we decided to give Tokyo Pastry a shot.
Hearty Mushroom Soup @RM10.00++
Outlook: 4/5
Creativity: 4/5
Taste: 4/5
Price: 4/5
Overall: 4/5 - Delicious creamy mushroom soup with lots of delightful mushroom bites to chew on. The garlic bread is kinda disappointing. Lack of garlic taste. Taste like ordinary bread toast.

Salmon Chowder @RM10.00++
Outlook: 3/5
Creativity: 2/5
Taste: 2/5
Price: 3/5
Overall: 2/5 - It is edible. That's all I can say. Don't ask where is the salmon because I do not even taste fish in it.

Tokyo Burger @RM15.00++
Outlook: 4/5
Creativity: 4/5
Taste: 5/5
Price: 4/5
Overall: 4/5 - This is the best burger I ever had! Thick and juicy chicken meat covered by delicious soft bun with pandan fragrance. This is a better burger that you can find compare to Ninja Burger, Burger King and McDonalds.

Look at the delicious texture. This burger is too huge to hold with your hands. You will get messy. The best is cut in small slices and eat piece by piece.
Tokyo Crispy Chicken @RM18.00++
Outlook: 3/5
Creativity: 4/5
Taste: 5/5
Price: 4/5
Overall: 4/5 - Very beautifully fried chicken fillet into nice golden color. That's from the picture. In real, you will find it plain and uninteresting. However, when you take a bite from it. Unbelievable fragrance of the "fried" taste roam into your mouth. It is so delicious which you will definitely going for the second cut before even you swallow the one you had in your mouth. No joking.

Pan Seared Chicken @RM19.00++
Outlook: 3/5
Creativity: 4/5
Taste: 4/5
Price: 4/5
Overall: 3/5 - This chicken is just like the chicken meat from the Tokyo Burger earlier. If you have not tried the above dishes, you will think this is very good but once you have tried, you will find that it is not impressive as you thought it would be. However, it is still good just not as good as the other two.

French Toast @RM8.00++
Outlook: 2/5
Creativity: 2/5
Taste: 2/5
Price: 3/5
Overall: 2/5 - Looks different from the ordinary French Toast, Anyway, I am optimistic enough to give it a try but it is really disappointing because the bread is very plain. The honey is helping to enhance the taste but the quality of the honey is not a really pure to me. Taste a little artificial sweetness in it.

Tokyo Melon @RM3.00++
Outlook: 3/5
Creativity: 2/5
Taste: 1/5
Price: 2/5
Overall: 2/5 - Deceived by its look. The cream inside it is too little and I hardly impressed with the taste which is taste like flour to me.

Matcha-Misu @RM10.00++
Outlook: 4/5
Creativity: 2/5
Taste: 2/5
Price: 3/5
Overall: 2/5 - Disappointing! I am expecting maybe they will dipped the mascarpone cheese in a matcha but in the end just layers of green tea cake and cream. Not impressive.

It is a bakery store that serves meal to diversify their business revenue. However, the funny part is their meal is way better than their bakery. So really recommended for their meal but not their dessert.
Total Damage: RM149.80
Ambiance: 4/5
Service: 4/5
Food Serving Speed: Fast
Will I Revisit?: Yes for their Tokyo Burger!
