Antipodean @Bangsar

It's great to hang out again with my beloved friends. This time, we went to Jeffrey's and Siew Fong's all-time favourite, Antipodean, which is located in Bangsar. I was really surprised with the crowd over here - non-stop flow of customers from the time the restaurant opens until it closed. I was super impressed! Besides Malaysia, Antipodean also have branches in Indonesia and Australia.
There are a few unique features of this restaurant. First of all, customers are not seated until all of members of their group have arrived. In other words, you have to wait for all of your friends to arrive before they will find a seat for you. Secondly, menu is not provided on the table, but written on a blackboard. So you have walk to where the blackboard is, make your choice, then walk back to your table to make your order. It's certainly not self-service, so I don't really understand the point of this except for cost-cutting purposes - in case they need to change the menu, maybe?
Big Breakfast @RM20.00++ (choice of Pork or Beef)

Taste: 4/5
Price: 3/5
Overall: 3/5 - According to Jeffery, this is one of their popular dishes due to its generous portion at a reasonable price. Of course, the main reason is because it's scrumplicious. I found its butter mushroom stood out compared to the rest of the stuff on plate. The very buttery flavour mushroom was so tangy and juicy too!

Eggs Benedict with Bacon @RM23.00++
Presentation: 4/5

Taste: 4/5
Price: 3/5
Overall: 3/5 - I loved the two big eggs benedict. They were super delicious. The bacon was a little salty but it was just fine when had together with the bread. I recommend this even though it's just salads, eggs, bacon and bread for RM23.00++.

Located at the same row with Yeast Bistro. It's kind of funny when two similar restaurants are opened side by side, but only one (Antipodean) seems to attract all the customers who are willing to wait, even though the queue can be very long. When I was there, it seemed as if Yeast Bistro was only able to attract impatient customers who have queued up at Antipodean for too long. In my opinion, Antipodean serves better food compared to Yeast Bistro, but I can't say that they are that good to attract such a great crowd. I wonder if it's because of we are all curious creatures who like to try out new places to eat.
Obviously, Antipodean has many more choices to choose from, but according to my friends, the best is only this two dishes out of so many other choices. I was stunned! How will this two dishes keep a constant flow of customers in the long run? Well, we shall see.
