Restaurant Puteri Hang Li Po @Karamunsing Capital

Never try a Chinese Muslim and Thai cuisine before. Found one at Kota Kinabalu so I have decided to give it a try. The restaurant is called Puteri Hang Li Po. The well-known princess from Ming Dynasty of China that is married to Sultan Mansur Shah from Malacca.
They serve free flow of Chinese tea here too. That's a surprise for me. We had a set dinner which is pretty affordable at the price of RM69.00++ for 2 pax. We can select a total of 4 dishes with 2 bowls of white rice are included. We can choose any dish we want in their menu. There are quite a lot of choices too.
Tomyam - The tomyam is quite spicy but it is just like the way I wanted to be. Delicious! The problem is their ingredients in it is quite stingy.
Butter Prawn - A bit cold and the prawn is not so fresh. I wonder if it is already cooked before we order.
Sabah Vege - This is the best among all the dishes we are having.
Steamed Tilapia - The price of RM69.00++ is inclusive of one whole fish which is beyond believable for me. As for the taste, I find it below average. Well, it is really cheap so I cannot complain much.
Fruits are included too! What perfect meal! Overall, I find their price is absolutely reasonable. Actually, they are selling their 2 pax set at RM56.00++ before this but right now they have increased it. Anyway, they are still cheap for me. As for the taste, there are still room for improvement.

Have you ever stay in a Durian Farm before? No? At Bao Sheng Durian Farm, you can do it! This 6.7 acres durian farm has been established in Balik Pulau since 1959. It really took them full 60 years to get the fruit of their hard work. Their villa is well equipped with air-con, hot shower and LCD TV with hundreds of Blu-Ray quality movies in it! They have existing queen size or king size bed and extra bed can be requested. To get close and personal with the King of Fruit...the accommodation charges will be Deluxe Villa is charged at RM280/night and standard villa will cost you RM180/night. What will people think first when we talk about Penang? Penang Hill? Batu Feringghi? Hard Rock Cafe? I doubt any of them come first but their local food! Penang famous with their local foods and that is the reason there are a lot of hawker center at Penang. One of them is at Jalan MacAlister. No name for this hawker center but the local good foods are concentrated here. A lot of hawker stall like this here. There are just too many to choose from. Tasik Biru Kangkar Pulai, Johor Bahru

At Johor Bahru, there is a majestic blue lake which is known as Tasik Biru Kangkar Pulai. It is a hidden gem within Masai, Johor Bahru.  The reason it is blue is because of the iron ore quarry nearby. The blue color is from the mineral called copper sulphate but I am not sure if that's the real reason for it because whenever there is a blue lake like this, there will be a iron ore quarry beside of it. Another good example is Tasik Biru Bukit Ibam Muadzam Shah, Pahang. Kedai Kopi Lotus, Kota Kinabalu

Kota Kinabalu doesn't have huge hawker center like you will see in Peninsular Malaysia or Kuching but I have to reckon that the best hawker center in Kota Kinabalu is in Kedai Kopi Lotus. Kedai Kopi Lotus themselves do serve their own food which was very terrible and beyond edible state. So do not eat anything from this restaurant. You just pick the stalls beside this restaurant. There are 4 stalls which I will introduce one by one to you but the only stall which will not be introduced is the stall which is selling Guo Tie ( a kind of dumplings) -  not my favorite. The best and the most popular stall of all is this chicken wing stall. Everyone is there lining up for them either taking away or dining there. You may need to wait for 15-20 minutes for it. This is my first time dining at Sentul and glad to know this great Chinese restaurant which is known as Restoran Makanan Laut Lau Heong. This is the crowd at 6.00pm on Sunday. Crazy right? Let you see from another angle. They just own one shop lot but seems like owning an extra 4 parking space but still they are people standing and waiting for their seat including me! Champ's Bowling Centre, Sandakan

Not really much entertainment in Sandakan even though they are just beside the sea. No nice beach for water activities and the nearest island like Pulau Selingan and Turtle Island are about 90 minutes away. As for the town itself, basically is this bowling centre called Champ's which has a very nice and good condition bowling alley, bowling shoes and bowling bowls if to compare with bowling centres like in KL.  Not very big at all for their bowling centre which only has 12 lanes. Their shoes look so new! Here is a demonstration on how to bowl. Looks pro...I wonder how is the end result. So what do guys think? Is it a strike? They have a lounge here as well. And a cafe too! By the appearance of it, Restoran Yu Hing definitely doesn't look appealing enough to become a tourist spot for you as your dining choice. However, I am still going to introduce to you their noodle. They do serve other variety of food but something worth to be here is only their noodle which is known as Beaufort Fried Noodle. Beaufort is a name of a town in Sabah. This is their very own local delicacies which you won't find it easily at any part of Malaysia or even Sabah. You have to be either in Kota Kinabalu or Beaufort to experience it. We can even hardly able to find a table in this run-down looking restaurant which already suggest that how good they are. Alright, let's move on about Miri. This astonishing scenery is from Meritz Hotel. This is a newly built hotel which is still under construction yet for certain part which you will hear they working as early as 8.00am and as late as 8.00pm. Pretty annoying despite this great scenery. Anyway, let's move on to the first food I dine at Miri which is at Jing Wood Cafe. It is a hawker center with no much choices to choose from. Well, basically in Miri there are pretty few choices to choose from especially for their dinner. So I have to carry on with this. Kedai Kopi Fook Yuen, Kota Kinabalu

This is another post that I would like to specially promoting this great food which is known as Roti Kahwin. There are a lot of Roti Kahwin in Kota Kinabalu but the best is still Kedai Kopi Fook Yuen. Getting a seat here is very difficult because they are just people waiting and standing beside a table to wait for the patrons to finish their food. This is the Roti Kahwin which cost at RM2.00. It may sound quite expensive but after GST is imposed every restaurants has increased their price. So we have to get used to it. Back to the topic, the reason why this common looking bread is so good is the butter which melts out into your mouth the moment you sink your teeth in it. The kaya fragrance should not be neglected too. Another key part is you have to eat this bread while it is still hot.
