Seriously, I have forgotten when is the last time I use voucher for food after series of disappointment. This voucher is from Everyday.com.my and the link for the voucher is as below:

I always enjoy afternoon tea session however sometimes it is just too heavy for me which will spoil my appetite for my dinner.

This time, once again May Lynne tagged with me for a break since she is a currently an over-stress auditor.
Hey you! We just ordered an afternoon tea set already ok? Why still look at pasta and lamb chop? Jeez...easily being seduced by food.
Here comes our afternoon set tea. Cautious! Suspicious eyes are aiming at something!

Overall: 3/5 - Actually we should have choose Macadamia Cheesecake. I thought she is going to choose that and she thought I will choose that for myself too. LoL. Ended up a BIG misunderstanding. Anyway, the Tiramisu is not bad too but not the best we had so far.

On the 2nd layer we have Scones, Rosemary & Cheese Cookies, Strawberry Chocolate Dip and Handroll Chocolate Truffle. The cookies is so-so and the scones is not hot enough like I used to have at The Smokehouse Restaurant and Victoria Rossa. While for others are pretty delicious and for chocolate lovers will certainly love it.
Assorted Sandwiches and Duck Confit are placed on the bottom tray. Very deliciously done and I love all of them.
It is always nice to have such a place to enjoy our evening bites and laughing around with our pals about our own topics. English tea to calm our feeling and make pleasant for our mood. This is how to enjoy our life. However, the crowd using the voucher there is so many which there are not many seats to sit and customers are making a long queue outside the restaurant. Feel bad for those customers as the time was raining very heavily. The restaurant is seriously under manpower during the tea time session; looking them running around in the restaurant headlessly. They got a big response for their voucher sales but very bad management to manage the voucher system.


By the way, the tea at delicious is not from a tea pot but it is in a mug with your own teabag which I do not find it special at all. So in my opinion, The Smokehouse Restaurant and Victoria Rossa still have their upperhand in this.

Champ's Bowling Centre, Sandakan

Not really much entertainment in Sandakan even though they are just beside the sea. No nice beach for water activities and the nearest island like Pulau Selingan and Turtle Island are about 90 minutes away. As for the town itself, basically is this bowling centre called Champ's which has a very nice and good condition bowling alley, bowling shoes and bowling bowls if to compare with bowling centres like in KL.  Not very big at all for their bowling centre which only has 12 lanes. Their shoes look so new! Here is a demonstration on how to bowl. Looks pro...I wonder how is the end result. So what do guys think? Is it a strike? They have a lounge here as well. And a cafe too! The price of the bowling is cost at RM4.80 per game per pax. We went at their most peak hours so their price basically has not much different than our KL City price. This is my first time dining at Sentul and glad to know this great Chinese restaurant which is known as Restoran Makanan Laut Lau Heong. This is the crowd at 6.00pm on Sunday. Crazy right? Let you see from another angle. They just own one shop lot but seems like owning an extra 4 parking space but still they are people standing and waiting for their seat including me! Have you ever stay in a Durian Farm before? No? At Bao Sheng Durian Farm, you can do it! This 6.7 acres durian farm has been established in Balik Pulau since 1959. It really took them full 60 years to get the fruit of their hard work. Their villa is well equipped with air-con, hot shower and LCD TV with hundreds of Blu-Ray quality movies in it! They have existing queen size or king size bed and extra bed can be requested. To get close and personal with the King of Fruit...the accommodation charges will be Deluxe Villa is charged at RM280/night and standard villa will cost you RM180/night. In my experience so far, the best seafood restaurant at Bukit Tambun is Restoran How Kee Seafood Village . Surprisingly, it is not listed in "Taste with Jason" tv programme. He preferred Cia Xiang Seafood Restaurant somehow. So here I am to find out! Unlike  Restoran How Kee Seafood Village , Cia Xiang Seafood Restaurant is very close to Bukit Tambun Tol Exit. While waiting for the first traffic light to turn green, you will immediately see their restaurant signboard on your north east direction. Once again being a free tour guide for a group of people from Yunnan, China to Penang for some nice local delicacies. However, they were complaining about our food is not spicy enough. So since they would like spicy food, the only place I can think of in Penang is The Little Nyonya Cuisine which located at the lower ground of Gurney Plaza.  Tomyam Seafood @RM18.00++ Outlook: 3/5 Creativity: 4/5 Taste: 4/5 Spiciness Level: 4/5 Price: 3/5 Overall: 3/5 - The seafood contains fish, squid and prawns only which is not bad at all. As I mentioned before in my Simple Life Tracy's Kitchen post , vegetarian cuisine has becoming a trend these days and a lot of restaurant coming out with a lot of ideas to make sure you know the food they served are authentic. At Veggie Planet, they are displaying everywhere in their restaurant to tell you that they guarantee you that the food they served does not contain any artificial coloring & preservative and does not contain any poison starch product. Are you convinced? I am. I can see how the owner spent in this restaurant by showing how "organic" they are. Selling other products and free health magazine for you to read. Too bad it is in Chinese. Having two shop lots combined which has made this restaurant big and with a lot of ample spaces. I like the privacy feel. Welcoming us with a nice tiny cup of refreshing Darjeeling tea. Nice! Never know about this place until I watched Ah Xian from the TV Programme which is known as "Taste with Jason". This restaurant is known as Chong Siew Lam Restaurant. No signboard to show this place but this is the only the crowded place in the whole street. They only serve for lunch so do expect great crowd roaming to this place between 12.00pm to 2.00pm.  Steamed Tilapia Fish Head @RM20.00 Outlook: 4/5 Creativity: 5/5 Taste: 5/5 Price: 4/5 Overall: 4/5 - Tilapia is a freshwater fish and the best is to steam it. Dim sum is always everyone's favourite even to our Muslim friends but finding a Halal and delicious dimsum is not that easy at all. After I have dined in Restoran Minmax, I know this is the best ever Halal dimsum that's available in Malaysia currently. It advised to come before 12.00pm during office hours or else you will have a hard time finding a seat. Even you able to find a seat, you will need to wait for a long time for the food to arrive.
