It has been 3 years and I am glad that I able to celebrate my god daughter's birthday without fail. She is really a gem in my heart. Since she is getting older every year, I am trying my best to give her unforgettable birthday celebration to her. I have come across with many places with exciting events for celebrating birthday for the kids. However, she is just 3 years old. So not too much things that she can do yet. Therefore, I rather to keep it simple for now and keep the fancy idea in the future. In the end, I decided to dine at Marmalade which is located inside the Bangsar Village II. This cafe is very colorful and the staffs are friendly too. They were kind enough to store my ice cream cake for us and they do allow outside cake even though they do have their own cake themselves. If you have read my post about Chye Seng Huat Hardware at Singapore, this is another work by Papa Palhelta which is known as PULP. As of today, this is their only branch in Malaysia which is located within the paper printing industry. It is quite hard to find the location of the cafe because there is no signboard indicate or whatsoever. It can be simple when you pay attention on the left hand side of the road at the moment you turned into Jalan Riong.  A new surge box vs an old surge box. Another great gathering after the previous one at  Tamarind Springs . This time the group is getting larger with different races just what I like it to be, a Malaysian style gathering. The normal hangout locations for a Malaysian style gathering will never opting out  mamak stalls , Starbucks, Old Town and  Pappa Rich  from their common list. Since I am the organizer, I got to be creative to find a best restaurant with great food and most importantly they served halal food! So here we are at Dancing Fish which is located at Bangsar Shopping Mall.  Dancing Fish serves Malay-Indo cuisine so they will serve their most popular Indonesian Emping Belinjo as complimentary for us. We all know burgers and hot dogs are the American's diner style. However, it has evolved to something which is not the ordinary burger we used to know at McDonalds. At The Daily Grind located in Bangsar Village, they just want to tell you the story of their evolving burgers. Their seats here are a lot! This is just one part of it. They have a bar table too just to sell you some alcoholic drinks. Their variety in alcoholic drinks is pretty impressive too. Not just beer but lots of type of cocktails too. How many I have posted about bakery cafe concept? Too many to be listed. Tous les Jours has just increased my list. Seems like our country is going to be westernized completely. Forget about Nasi Lemak and Roti Canai for breakfast and replace them with breads and sandwiches. Tous les Jours is a French word which means "Everyday" in English A close up shot to the antique bicycle. The choices in this bakery cafe is not bad at all. Too many for you to choose from and enough to make you feel like trying every single one of them. According to the staff, their normal breads without any filling can last for 3 days while for those with fillings must be consumed within the same day of purchase. The price is not cheap at all. So I can't even afford to simply buy everything to try one by one at home. They do sell pound cakes too! Wow...the choices are really a lot! RM4.50/pc for macaroon.
