Chillout, Soulout & Freakout

We just had our tiring caving adventure at Gua Tempurung and we were exhausted and extremely hungry especially when we had skipped our lunch in the cave. Thanks to Emily, she introduced me this restaurant, Restoran Rawang Famous Steam Fish. I know this famous restaurant with their famous one person one fish concept which I have been always wanted to try someday in KL but didn't expect them to be in Ipoh already. So I might as well completing my desire in Ipoh instead. We had 18 person for the dinner and we all sit in one large table. It was a little bit cramp but we managed to sit through out our dinner since we were so hungry already. We already care less about our personal space. I would recommend the maximum of 15 adults size for one large table. Steamed Tilapia - This is the famous one person one fish tilapia. When you are in Ipoh, it is a sin for not bring your oversea friend to taste the local famous Bean Sprout Chicken Rice or known as Nga Choi Gai in Cantonese. However, please do not bring them to these over commercialized restaurants which are Restoran Onn Kee and Restoran Lou Wong. These places are meant for tourist only. Read more to know why I say so. They only sell steamed chicken so please do not expect to eat roasted chicken here. This is my first blog about Ipoh. It has been quite a while since my last visit here. Nothing much changes in this city but their night life. Can see the colorful building just right beside one of the busiest street in Ipoh. Anyway, I am here to bring my China friend to taste yong tau foo because she loves it very much. The place is called "Let's Rock". No, I am not kidding. Seriously this Yong Tau Foo restaurant called themselves with that name. I have the same feeling like you do. WEIRD! Pick your own beloved Yong Tau Fu as usual and order your favourite noodle to accompany with it. Noodles in process. Their prices. Not very expensive if you compare with the outrageous Restoran Khuang Li at Cheras. Mee Hoon together with Ipoh's well known fat bean sprout. Thin Kuew Teow is always my preferred noodle.
