Talking about Sapa, travelers often remember its peaceful fresh atmosphere, terrace fields stretching from mountain to mountain or colorful valleys while many others memorize romantic waterfalls, and Love Waterfall is the outstanding one. Don't forget to make at the Trạm Tôn View Point along the way to the Love Waterfall. At 1,900 meters height it is the highest pass in Vietnam. The pass is often referred to as “Heavens Gate” because of its picturesque landscapes, which you see here. It’s like a gateway to heaven. Tram Ton Pass is about 15km from Sapa, when you drive on the road to the other side of Fansipan (mountain) and the Hoang Lien Mountain Range. Most people also stop at the 100 meter high Thac Bac (Silver Waterfall) at about 12 kilometers from Sapa. The Silver Waterfall Sapa, or as the locals call it ‘Thac Bac’ is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the region. Head north along the Sapa loop road and discover the raging Thac Bac waterfall in the San Sai Ho mountainside. Silver Waterfall is far about 15 kilometers from Sapa toward Lai Chau; tourists take approximately 30 minutes by motorbike or bus to visit one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Vietnam. When you come to Sapa, Fansipan must be in your itinerary. The entrance fee is 600,000vnd. It costs a bomb but it is still attracting tourists to be there even it is 1,000,000vnd. Muong Hoa Valley is one of the most famous destinations for breathtaking scenery and is the largest farmland for rice growing in Sapa. It is far from town about 14 kilometers. Going to visit Muong Hoa, you can trek along Muong Hoa River sneaking through the valley nearby Sapa town. This valley lies between two high ranges of mountains running in the parallel south-east of Sapa town. On the way, you can learn more about how is the rice cultivating. My advice is to put your big luggage at the hotel you are staying when you arrived at Sapa Town. Carry light and essential stuff in your backpack and start the journey which may takes up to 5 hours and even longer if you are walking casually and making lots of pit stops. After that, you will spend a night at one of the local houses. There is no need to book in advance. You will definitely find a family whom will happily accommodate you..
