The most basic thing a godfather got to do is to celebrate his god daughter's birthday every year. That's one thing I will make sure I will not fail doing it. This year I had the celebration held at 5.1 Cafe Gallery.  Normally, a restaurant owner will try to fully utilized the shop space with more tables and chairs to accommodate more customers. However, he chose to have this special section which can put 2 tables at least to put his photograph and some antiques. From here, you should have able to guess that the owner has a strong passion in photography too. There are a lot of cute and small stuffs which you can't resist not to feed into your instagram. Most of the cafes that I have been will only put smaller tables which only can fit 2 pax and barely can make it four because they want to maximize the space with customers. I do not know how many coffee specialist cafes are there in Klang Valley. For you infromation, Jalan Radin Bagus is the busiest street at Bandar Baru Sri Petaling. Just along Jalan Radin Bagus alone, there are more than 6 cafes that I have spotted.  The Shotlist is one of them. To be different than other cafes, effort of serving an excellent coffee is no longer enough. Not a lot of people has the unique tongue to taste the different in coffee. To be different, it is highly depending on the variety and the quality of food served. We had Honey Roasted Hazelnut Latte @RM12.90++ and Hot Toffee Nut @RM13.90++. The coffee taste is excellent and the other extra taste is just the syrup to reduce the bitterness of the coffee. For those who can't tolerate caffeine very well can give this a try. Once again, it is my date with my god daughter with her family. I have chosen Le Pont Boulangerie because the restaurant is big and spacious for these two little cuties to run about. This is their second branch in Klang Valley area. Their first branch is at Old Klang Road. On the ground floor, they have a selection of bread and pastries. You can order some desserts here to dine in too.  At the first floor, it is solely for their diners. They have a hanging bridge look alike in the middle of the restaurant. Le Pont means "The Bridge" in French. So this bridge is their icon. As I have mentioned earlier, their space is spacious and the design is exquisite too. My son can't sit at all when he was here. Managed and genuinely owned by a Thai owner who is very determine to bring the most original Thai recipe to Sri Petaling area and it is named as Restoran Thai Sawasdee Kitchen, the one and only Thai restaurant in that area. Another cafe is opened at Sri Petaling which is known as Soft Launch Cafe & Desserts. This cafe is opened at the First Floor to enjoy lower rental fee. In order to make themselves notable to the public, they did invited the media to help them to promote them. The cafe is just occupied a single shop lot but the moment I stepped in this cafe, it looks bigger than I thought it should be. They even divided the cafe into smoking area and non-smoking area. The food selection is not a lot and mostly pasta which is simple and you do not need a large kitchen to prepare it. The kitchen has been shrunken to put more tables and that's why the cafe looks bigger than usual. Cafe Latte @RM10.00. Fair price but unfortunately they over roasted the beans. It is a dark roast bean. I am really surprised that this cafe is trying to show to us that they are specialized in coffee making (they even have drip coffee) but have chose a dark roast coffee to serve to their customers.
