Chillout, Soulout & Freakout

Just landed from Malapascua Island and got a quick catch up with my old buddy, Ann Jee. We have known each other for more than 10 years but surprisingly we never had Japanese cuisine together yet. Since I got to know there is a new opening Japanese restaurant in the neighborhood, without any prior research, I introduced Ann Jee to this restaurant which is known as Koyaku Japanese Dining & Grill. This is their second branch in Taman Desa where the main branch is at Shah Alam. They opened 2 restaurants within a year which is pretty quick for a Japanese restaurant. I think the owner is a big fan of Astro Boy. It was first known as Mighty Atom in Japan in 1959 before being recognized as Astro Boy in overseas. After celebration with my sister at Plan B , it was great to have Elayne jie to think of my birthday again and to celebrate with me even she is having her 7-month pregnancy. This time I will have her husband to come along instead because the responsibility was just too high for me to carry even though I will soon to be the baby's godfather. Wee~~~ I am so excited! So this time she brought me to Seoul Korea Restaurant instead of a Japanese restaurant since she is not allow to eat much of the food there. There she is and you can see the queue is ridiculously long at 7.30pm. I hope I can find a chair for her to sit because I really feel bad that she had to purposely stand and queue just for my simple birthday dinner. I know she purposely did a little homework for this dinner to make sure I am not disappointed with it. After a great experience that I have at Levain Boulangerie & Patisserie , seeking a similar type of experience in another restaurant is always my next aim. After a few research and got to know that there is a sister company for  Levain Boulangerie & Patisserie which is called Ficelle Boulangerie & Patisserie which is located at Taman Danau Desa. Here we are, a tighter space inside the shop compare with Levain. More varieties on their cakes! Maccarons are available too! Nice decoration is always their signature but I am more into Levain's. A small area for their Patisserie and some of them are not even ready at the time of 9.30am!!! They need to do faster than that.
