Ochado @Pavilion - The Return

As promised, I am back again to Ochado to try their very limited Pop Egg Milk Tea!!! It is very limited to 50 cups per day. Last round I have missed it but this round, I have to make my point to taste it no matter what! Hehe...

It is number 4 maybe because the limitation number of Pop Egg available per day.

Overall: 4/5 - Finally! I got on hold of this rare drink! Very delicious! Super fun! I like the pop eggs keep on popping inside my mouth. The ingredient in the pop egg is coffee. The coffee taste is not very strong and it is slightly sweet but blend it well with my 25% sugar milk tea. If you just eat the pop egg like that, you will find it quite sweet.

Here you go. A closer look on the pop egg. This is a good drink and I am having lots of fun with it. You will definitely smile every each pop egg exploded in your mouth. I assure you! With this drink, Ochado has outclassed Gong Cha and Chatime easily.

Not really much entertainment in Sandakan even though they are just beside the sea. No nice beach for water activities and the nearest island like Pulau Selingan and Turtle Island are about 90 minutes away. As for the town itself, basically is this bowling centre called Champ's which has a very nice and good condition bowling alley, bowling shoes and bowling bowls if to compare with bowling centres like in KL.  Not very big at all for their bowling centre which only has 12 lanes. Hawker Center @Jalan MacAlister, Penang

What will people think first when we talk about Penang? Penang Hill? Batu Feringghi? Hard Rock Cafe? I doubt any of them come first but their local food! Penang famous with their local foods and that is the reason there are a lot of hawker center at Penang. One of them is at Jalan MacAlister. No name for this hawker center but the local good foods are concentrated here. A lot of hawker stall like this here. There are just too many to choose from. The Sagano Scenic Railway is a great way to enjoy the natural beauty of western Kyoto, which is mostly known for the Arashiyama area. Known also as the Sagano Torokko or Sagano Romantic Train, this retrofited old-fashioned stream train takes you beyond Arashiyama for a perfect escape from the busy cities and crowded spots of the rest of Japan. I used to whine that Japanese cuisine in Johor Bahru is horrifying and disappointing until I meet Warakuya Japanese Garden at Mount Austin. From the exterior itself, this restaurant looks so grand and luxury. The first thing comes to my mind is the price will be hefty. However, when I saw the queue in front of the restaurant, I already doubt their price is going to be really expensive. I know people just loves good food but at the minimum price. Who doesn't anyway? One of the best part of the restaurant is they are providing 42" LCD TV, free flow of drinks and seating area for the queue. You will never know time flies when you are having those things at the waiting area. Something that Sushi Zanmai needs to consider. Lijiang Old Town is located at the heart of Lijiang. To get to here there are several ways depending on where you are from: From Kunming: Flight:  Take plane from Changshui Airport. Whenever you are in Sapa, Cat Cat Village is always one of the highlight of this place. The reason is this is the original village of the Hmong tribe which is the closest from Sapa town. Even though now it has become a tourist spot and has lost its real originality. However, it is still a good start to know about the people who is living in Sapa. It is about a 30 minutes walk from the central of the town but the scenery along the way is breathtaking. It is totally worth it. Just be mindful that the road is narrow and steep. Sometimes I feel the road is just too small for two vehicles to use on different direction. You will feel that you will be pushed down from the road. So I would suggest those who is bringing kids, please get a taxi.  Do buy one of their colorful native costume for picture shooting. It is highly recommended. It is not expensive at all. So you should not be worry about spending too much money on a costume which you will never wear later on....

After an overrated trip to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, I had my disappointment redeemed by visiting Shika Snow Mountain. The highest point that we can go as a tourist is only 4500m instead of 4680m at Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. However, it is fine by us for many reasons so do read on. It is quite easy to get to the snow mountain from Shangri-la because it stands 4 miles (7 kilometers) to the southwest of the county. Take bus line 9 from Shangri-la Passenger Station, and get off at the terminus. The bus is available from 7.30am to 5.00pm at hourly intervals. The fare is CNY 3. Take a taxi to the scenic area at about CNY 30 for a single trip. Charter a car, and it costs about CNY 60 for a round trip. You should agree a time with the driver for him to pick you up for the return trip. I took the option 3 which is the convenient options ever as you don't have to waste time to take the bus.
