Chop Hing Huong, Sibu

No need to introduce further about my friend here but next to her is her cousin who bring us around at Sibu. He brought us to Chop Hing Huong which he claimed that one of the best Ding Bian Hu in Sibu. This stall is opened in a small alley. There is no real indication to direct you to this stall. Amazingly this stall still got quite a number of patrons.
This is the machine to make the Ding Bian Hu. As you can see, it is made fresh! It is the same like making soya bean.
According to him, this uncle has been making this for over 40 years.

Ding Bian Hu @RM3.00
Outlook: 4/5
Creativity: 4/5
Taste: 4/5
Price: 4/5
Overall: 4/5 - It taste like pan mee to me. However, I cannot find any pan mee to make as this good yet. The very special about this foochow specialty is it is using a spoon only.

This is what you see from outside. They also do sell foochow fried mee which is equally good at RM3.50! Very delicious with great wok hei! My coordinate under the map location may not be very accurate but what I can say is it is along the Jalan Central and look for small alley. The best is look at the crowd which they use a small alley during the lunch hour. You will know that is the alley you are looking for.
