Jal Dae Ji @Korean Village, Ampang

Today I had the craziest attempt by taking my sister's mom to a Korean Restaurant. As far as I understand from my sister that her mom only likes dining places that have rice in their menu. So I thought Korean Cuisine should be something she would be worth to consider and try. Honestly, this plan has been always in my mind for a long time ago but I just never dare to make the move...not until today. Hehehe...

This is the their stone oven for preparing the marinated meats.
The suction system is at the side of the grill plate. Really a bad suction system. Once you enter the restaurant, after 5 minutes you smell the BBQ. Not really an advice for you to come here for a dinner which you have an activity later.
Yang Gui @RM50.00++
Yang Gui is a Lamb Chop. Right now is in process.
It is all ready!
Outlook: 3/5
Creativity: 2/5
Taste: 2/5
Price: 1/5
Overall: 2/5 - As you can see the bones are more than the meat already cost RM50.00++, pretty expensive! Taste is so-so only where other Korean Restaurant I blogged so far has easily outclassed this.

Mok Dung Sim @RM18.00++
Mok Dung Sim is a pork loin which is one of their signature dish for pork meat category.
After cut into smaller pieces, seems like not a lot left. Haha...
Outlook: 3/5
Creativity: 2/5
Taste: 3/5
Price: 4/5
Overall: 3/5 - It taste good but not special enough for you to leave a memory about it. As for the price, you have to agree that this is one of the cheapest.

Dwae Ji Gal Bi @RM20.00++
Dwae Ji Gal Bi is known as pork ribs.
Usually we will be expecting lots of bones for pork ribs but there is only one bone in this pork ribs given.
Outlook: 3/5
Creativity: 3/5
Taste: 3/5
Price: 4/5
Overall: 3/5 - It taste the same like the Pork Loin even though it is one of their signature dish under the pork category.

Dak Gal Bi @RM25.00++
Dak Gal Bi is a marinated chicken. Only one type of chicken dish under their menu.
Outlook: 3/5
Creativity: 3/5
Taste: 3/5
Price: 3/5
Overall: 3/5 - Their marinated sauce not special enough to beat the one I had at Restoran Han Woo Ri Garden which is located at Korean Village as well.

The service given by the lady boss was top class but not for her waiter and waitress which is lack of attentiveness. We need to call them a lot of times to refill my side dishes. Pretty disappointing. As for the food, this is the cheapest I had so far except the lamb which is overpriced. But for the taste, it is not really special enough to make you to revisit.
My sister's mom had her shocked of her life when she noticed that I brought her to a Korean Restaurant. She is very reluctant to accept food from other countries except Chinese food. You can say she is a very traditional minded lady. So in the end, she only ate a piece of each of the meat even though they taste quite good and she had a quarter bowl of the fragrance rice which is cost at RM5.00 per bowl.

It is all about her mindset that block her from trying food from other country. If I take away the food from this Korean Restaurant for her to eat, I believe she will eat normally like other food that she loves to eat. Anyhow, I feel bad that I somehow spoiled her dinner.

Total Damage: RM151.80
Ambiance: 2/5
Service: 4/5
Food Serving Speed: Moderate
Will I Revisit?: No
