My busy friend have to juggle between her business, family and me during my visit to Singapore. Under special circumstances, I am invited to her mom's birthday dinner. It is really such an awkward situation for me. Well, maybe my face thick enough and here I am at Sakura International Buffet Restaurant at Shaw Plaza. LOL.

You can see their buffet pricing by the side. It is consider very cheap to have a buffet dinner @S$25++ only!!!
The line of sushi and sashimi. Their maguro (tuna) is not really fresh but others are good.

Noodles in oriental style.
Some local foods such as fried rice, singapore meehoon, rendang and etc.
Chinese Dim Sum
12 different flavors of ice cream available.

Fruits and yogurts.
Cakes and desserts.
Their California Roll is quite unique compare to all Japanese Buffet I had so far. The uniqueness is the seaweed wrap is wrapped in a plastic separate from the rice. This is to ensure the rice does not make the seaweed become stale. So you need to use your "talent" to take off the plastic and wrap the rice back with the seaweed. Not that easy as you think., I can assure you.
Haha...a failure end product. However, the California Roll has remained its freshness.

This place is pretty crowded. It is advised to book earlier and avoid walk-in at all cost. You just have to admit this is the only cheapest with good food Japanese Buffet Restaurant available in Singapore. Please do not try to convert back to Malaysia Ringgit. Of course, you can get a better Japanese Buffet if you dine in Malaysia after conversion.

In my experience so far, the best seafood restaurant at Bukit Tambun is Restoran How Kee Seafood Village . Surprisingly, it is not listed in "Taste with Jason" tv programme. He preferred Cia Xiang Seafood Restaurant somehow. So here I am to find out! Unlike  Restoran How Kee Seafood Village , Cia Xiang Seafood Restaurant is very close to Bukit Tambun Tol Exit. Champ's Bowling Centre, Sandakan

Not really much entertainment in Sandakan even though they are just beside the sea. No nice beach for water activities and the nearest island like Pulau Selingan and Turtle Island are about 90 minutes away. As for the town itself, basically is this bowling centre called Champ's which has a very nice and good condition bowling alley, bowling shoes and bowling bowls if to compare with bowling centres like in KL.  Not very big at all for their bowling centre which only has 12 lanes. Their shoes look so new! Here is a demonstration on how to bowl. Looks pro...I wonder how is the end result. So what do guys think? Is it a strike? They have a lounge here as well. And a cafe too! The price of the bowling is cost at RM4.80 per game per pax. We went at their most peak hours so their price basically has not much different than our KL City price. By the appearance of it, Restoran Yu Hing definitely doesn't look appealing enough to become a tourist spot for you as your dining choice. However, I am still going to introduce to you their noodle. They do serve other variety of food but something worth to be here is only their noodle which is known as Beaufort Fried Noodle. Beaufort is a name of a town in Sabah. This is their very own local delicacies which you won't find it easily at any part of Malaysia or even Sabah. You have to be either in Kota Kinabalu or Beaufort to experience it. We can even hardly able to find a table in this run-down looking restaurant which already suggest that how good they are. This is my first time dining at Sentul and glad to know this great Chinese restaurant which is known as Restoran Makanan Laut Lau Heong. This is the crowd at 6.00pm on Sunday. Crazy right? Let you see from another angle. They just own one shop lot but seems like owning an extra 4 parking space but still they are people standing and waiting for their seat including me! Never know about this place until I watched Ah Xian from the TV Programme which is known as "Taste with Jason". This restaurant is known as Chong Siew Lam Restaurant. No signboard to show this place but this is the only the crowded place in the whole street. They only serve for lunch so do expect great crowd roaming to this place between 12.00pm to 2.00pm.  Steamed Tilapia Fish Head @RM20.00 Outlook: 4/5 Creativity: 5/5 Taste: 5/5 Price: 4/5 Overall: 4/5 - Tilapia is a freshwater fish and the best is to steam it. Once again being a free tour guide for a group of people from Yunnan, China to Penang for some nice local delicacies. However, they were complaining about our food is not spicy enough. It is my day with my little princess, Ying Ying. She is getting cuter every single day. We had our own sweet time at Coliseum Cafe & Grill Room. This restaurant has been operating since 1921 and this is the first time after 92 years, they started to branch out their restaurant to Plaza 33 and Mid Valley. This restaurant has clinched Malaysia Book of Records award for the "Longest Operating Western Colonial - Themed Restaurant. Their first ever restaurant is at Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman.  It is not easy to sustain this long. They surely has their uniqueness in their menu to keep their customers happy. What will people think first when we talk about Penang? Penang Hill? Batu Feringghi? Hard Rock Cafe? I doubt any of them come first but their local food! Penang famous with their local foods and that is the reason there are a lot of hawker center at Penang. One of them is at Jalan MacAlister. No name for this hawker center but the local good foods are concentrated here. A lot of hawker stall like this here. There are just too many to choose from.
