Egg Custard @Wai Sek Kai, Pudu

Where to get the original homemade egg custard in the busiest city in Malaysia? Yes, at Wai Sek Kai. If you do not know where is Wai Sek Kai, please click on my map link below. The whole Jalan Sayur is the Wai Sek Kai which translate in English is called Foodaholic Street.

The boss and his small tiny stall. He sell others desserts as well but the best selling one will be the Egg Custard.
Egg Custard @RM1.90. Very very small bowl which you might order again.
Outlook: 4/5
Creativity: 4/5
Taste: 5/5
Price: 3/5
Overall: 4/5 - Very strong egg-gy taste. I believe the boss really put a lot of eggs to make one tasty egg custard like this.

I was told that they only made 500 mini bowls of egg custards everyday and it is usually sold off within 3-4 hours. As you can see their business hours is starting from 3pm - 9.30pm, so you should know when you should be there to catch their Egg Custard to avoid disappointment. I did asked the boss before why not making more since the demand are there? He said, his recipe is just perfect for 500 mini bowls. If he wants to increase, he has to change the recipe again which usually may not be the same taste as he did for the 500 mini bowls. From here we know, the boss is more focus on quality than quantity.
