At Dalat, it may be too boring if you are just taking photos everyday. Even you can find different location and different theme, you may end up taking the same shot. So my advice to you is take a break from the photography session and get some adrenaline rush at Datanla where you will be experience the high rope course and the South East Asia longest sliding car.
I signed this high rope course from Klook at RM57 per person instead of RM62 for their normal price. However, I have to get here by myself as there are no transportation included. Basically nothing is included except their harness rental. It is highly recommend you to bring your own drinking water and glove. To get to here, you need to take taxi or just rent a motorbike. The journey takes about less than 15 minutes to reach.
There is no time slot required and you just have to show your Klook voucher to the counter. Please do go to the toilet to release what you had to release or otherwise there is no way you can find a toilet on the tree.
After a short briefing and demonstration about the safety features, we are ready to go. They gave us a time limit of 2 hours. You can quit early but you cannot play over your time limit. However, if you are still on the course when your time limit finishes, you can continue until the end.
Don't you think the trees are extremely tall? Maybe it is because of the GoPro wide angle effect.
Ok, now on linear mode from the top. It is freaking tall right?
Let me show you my leg. Ya it is like more than 5 stories high. Take note, there is no chicken exit once you have started a course. You have to complete it no matter what.
The best part is the zip line across the valley. It is 200m long. Go and back. It is the most exciting part for me.
What is the scariest part for me is this Tarzan jump from a 15m tall platform and you need to hold the net by two hands. The jump really does need a lot of courage. It is your leap of faith. There are two courses that is having this Tarzan jump which is the black course and the red course.
They have plenty of course where the difficulty is differentiate by colors. The easiest is the white color and follow by yellow course which are meant for the kids only. Kids are not allowed to play adult course which is starts from green color and follows by orange, blue, red and black. I managed to finish all 5 courses within 2 hours with some time left. So there is no rush to finish them. You really have the time. The only challenge is your strength and stamina.
What I like about their setup is each color has their own unique challenge. For example this challenge you will only see in the red course and no any other courses. There are two challenges that is repetitive which are the zipline and the tarzan jump which I have mentioned earlier only available in red and black courses.
For me the challenge starts from blue course. The lesser the zipline you have to do, the tougher the course is. The zipline is actually relaxing instead of challenging. You do not need any strength to do a zipline. However, when a course has lesser zipline, you will need to do extra more obstacle course.
I do recommend you to start from green to black instead of vice versa. The reason is once you have tried black and red, your energy is already 80% depleted and you do not find any challenge on the other courses.
I really admire her courage and patience. She never try this kind of game at all. It is not what she likes but she is willing to try and complete every single one of them with her beautiful smile on her face.
Sometimes she did frown too. Especially at the beginning of the courses, amazingly when the course gets tougher the more smile she has. I thought she is crazy. LOL
Black course drained almost all my energy, time for me to look at the beautiful landscape first and rest. The weather is nice and chill. It is not hot at all because of the trees have already shed you well.
The last zipline to end the whole course. It was absolutely a great experience for us and I really do enjoy it. One of the best I had so far after the ESCAPE in Penang.
Let's move on and get ready to the next extreme ride which is the sliding car. Before that, do enjoy my video of this adventure below.
Experience an exhilarating tour of Datanla's natural wonders on the Datanla New Alpine Coaster! Using Wiegand technology, the coasters and tracks are engineered with a magnetic brake system that allows safe distances between cars. Sensor breaks are also installed to let riders control their speed, at the same time limiting the ride from going too fast.
With these advancements, riders can now safely tour the 2,400-meter track at their own pace! Zip through the woods and stop by the majestic Datanla Waterfalls, where you can take a photo or two. Not feeling touristy? Bask in the forest's tranquil atmosphere instead. Discover the beauty of Da Lat's natural landscape on this two-seater attraction!
I book this through Klook as well for RM24.00/pax instead of RM27.00. There are two types of sliding car at Datanla. This is the newest and the longest one which is located at the top of the hill beside the High Rope Course area.
You will stop at the middle to get down to witness the Datanla Waterfall. This yellow color waterfall doesn't look pleasing for me. Unfortunately, all the river and waterfall at Dalat are in this color. It is a shame.
Overall, do not miss this two amazing adventures which is located at Datanla. It is absolutely worth it and make your trip at Dalat more meaningful. Last but not least do enjoy my video of the sliding car below.

Once again being a free tour guide for a group of people from Yunnan, China to Penang for some nice local delicacies. However, they were complaining about our food is not spicy enough. So since they would like spicy food, the only place I can think of in Penang is The Little Nyonya Cuisine which located at the lower ground of Gurney Plaza. Tomyam Seafood @RM18.00++ Outlook: 3/5 Creativity: 4/5 Taste: 4/5 Spiciness Level: 4/5 Price: 3/5 Overall: 3/5 - The seafood contains fish, squid and prawns only which is not bad at all. I would consider their seafood is fresh. The best part is the tomyam soup which is very spicy enough to numb your whole tongue and jaw. Nyonya Asam Pedas Ikan Pari @RM18.00++ Outlook: 3/5 Creativity: 4/5 Taste: 4/5 Spiciness Level: 5/5 Price: 3/5 Overall: 3/5 - The stingray is soft and delicious but the only problem was the moment the gravy touched my tongue, I already can taste the crazy spiciness in it which is far greater than the ...
Hailing from Brooklyn, Motorino opened its first Malaysian Branch in Genting Highlands, this being ninth branch out of 5 countries. The simple no frills entrance to the restaurant is a precursor to the interior. Black and white tiles, small circular tables with steel maroon chairs await the diners. The emphasis seems to be on delivering good food. The aroma of freshly baked pizzas emerging from two gigantic wood-fired ovens located strategically at the back of the restaurant wafts through the entire eatery. If you are a die-hard pizza lover, Motorino is the place you want to be at. Their pizza dough is freshly made every day by well-trained chefs. Only the freshest ingredients go into it. The entire dough is then place onto a giant flat ladle. Customers are then treated to the side of the chef side of pizza being cooked before their eyes. The result is a tender melt in your mouth pizza filled with succulent juicy pieces of meat and dripping cheese on a rich tomato ba...
Restoran MS Bak Kut Teh has been serving the Sungai Besi neighborhood for 6 long years. It is opened by an enthusiastic couple who wants to bring good food to the people around. They are very creative enough to keep inventing new recipe. You would be surprised to see their thick menu. From bak kut teh to selling all kinds of varieties dishes. Curry Claypot Fish @RM35.00 (small)/RM38.00 (big) Outlook: 4/5 Creativity: 4/5 Taste: 4/5 Price: 4/5 Overall: 4/5 - The curry fragrance is so thick but not spicy at all. The fish is so soft and with a little fried sensation which makes the meat not dull and boring. However, you have to watch out for the bones. It is everywhere. They only have one type of fish which is the Tilapia. So most of their fish cuisine is made from Tilapia. The pot is really big and it is only the small portion. I believe it can feed up to 3 pax. Super worth it. Pork Ribs with Yam @RM26.00 Outlook: 3/5 Creativity: 4/5 Taste: 4/5 Price: 3...
I really in love with Thai food so the first thing I would like to eat when I came to Koh Samui is to find a Thai restaurant so I came into this restaurant called Sawadee Thai Cuisine which is located at Bophut Fisherman Village. Actually almost all the restaurants here serves Thai food but not most of them serve only Thai food. Koh Samui is a tourist destination so even the restaurant menu has to be internationalized. Only Sawadee Thai Cuisine serves almost 100% original Thai food. Paneng Pork @290 baht++ Outlook: 2/5 Creativity: 3/5 Taste: 3/5 Price: 2/5 Overall: 2/5 - Paneng curry is a type of Thai curry that is generally milder than other Thai curries. It traditionally includes dried chili peppers, galangal, lemongrass, coriander root, coriander seeds, cumin seeds, garlic, shrimp paste and salt, and sometimes also shallots and peanuts. So it is taste least spicy than other Thai curry. The taste of dish is made a little sloppy because I do not feel it is worth ...
In Kota Kinabalu, you will find noodles from different part of town such as Tuaran Mee , Beaufort Mee and now what I am going to introduce to you is the another town's local mee which is known as Tenom Mee. I think I do not have to mention where it is originated. I find that people in KK are really pampered with all kinds of noodle serving to them. This is Tenom noodle which is slightly disappointing because after our experience with the Beaufort noodle , we brought a pretty high expectation this will be somehow better or at least the same like it. However, to us, it is just another noodle like the wantan mee. Wantan mee taste way better thou. There is the possibility this restaurant doesn't serve the real Tenom noodle or the Tenom noodle is actually looks like this. Well, I only can find out if I make a visit to Tenom. The tenom noodle is actually substitute with the rice so we have to order some other dishes to accompany with it. So we had a bowl of different types...
Continue from my previous post about UK Farm which is located at Air Hitam, Kluang. This time I would like to share with you about a very challenging activity which is called the goat catching game. It is the signature activity of this farm. In another words, you do not consider coming to this farm if you are not playing this game. This game is cost at RM5/pax. The rule of this game is very simple. You need to catch the goat within 10 minutes time frame. The maximum pax to join is 5. The more the easier it is. Here you are, they just release 6 goats for you to catch. Let the hunt begins! Yes, you are catching them with your bare hands on this sandy field. Not really a good idea thou. It is not the grassy land like you see in their official website. If you think it is easy, you are wrong. It is not about how fast is your speed to outrun the goat. It is about teamwork. Well, I would say our teamwork is very poor. How to catch when the goat can jump?! Seriously when you...
Erhai Lake is the largest highland lake next to Dianchi and one of the seven biggest fresh water lakes in China. It means, 'sea shaped like an ear', in Chinese. Implying that the lake is ear shaped and as large as a sea, hence it was so named. The Erhai Lake covers an area of 250 square kilometers (96 square miles) and is located about two kilometers (1.2 miles) east of Dali. It is like a crescent lying between Cangshan and Dali city as seen from Cangshan Mountain. In a sunny day, the crystal waters of Erhai Lake and the snow mantled Cangshan Mount radiate with each other. Thus the scene was commonly described as 'Silver Cangshan and Jade Erhai'. There are a lot of ways to tour around the Erhai Lake but I suggested you the best two ways. Cycling/Sightseeing Car/Electric Bike/Electric Car - No matter which type of transportation you are using, you need 2 days to complete the tour around the lake. The total distance is 128km. My suggestion is you leave your big...
When you happened to smell an unique aromatic tea fragrant when you are walking at Pavilion Mall KL, do look for the logo of a hummingbird where you will find Steaped. The store is clean, modern and revitalizing which is a perfect spot for customers looking for a perfect tea infusion to start their day. Steaped knows that coffee has always being the leader as an important beverage intake for most of our daily life. Tea is seldom in the picture. In order to make the breakthrough, they have created all kinds of recipes with amazing top quality ingredients just to persuade us that tea is a good choice too. Steaped's Sweet Apple Pie @RM12.00 (regular)/RM13.50 (Large) - This is their most popular drink under Rooibos Signature Drinks category. Personally, I would really recommend this drink for being a starter in appreciating tea. The ingredients in it are rooibos, apple juice, cinnamon and nutmeg. Rooibos itself is a costly ingredient so you would expect the price of this drink wo...

I do not have to mention about the numbers of ice cream parlors in Klang Valley but I will just tell you the total amount of ice cream parlor that I known of as of date at Mount Austin Heights alone only is already got 5. Yes, you heard me right. Just this tiny place alone has 5 ice cream parlors. I heard from my friend who is staying there claimed that it is more than 5 at Mount Austin Heights. Well, all I have seen was 5 so far. Anyway, what is more exciting is one of the ice cream parlor which is known as Creamery Boutique Ice Cream is a famous franchise ice cream in Thailand. They have 4 ice cream parlors in Bangkok and now they are setting their foot in for the first time in Malaysia. Their first choice was not KL but JB! How honored I am for being a Johorean! The first time we are bringing our new member in our family for a family day trip is to Teluk Sengat Crocodile Farm. The farm is located 1 hour away from Johor Bahru and 30 minutes away from Desaru. The price of the ticket is RM8 (adult) and RM6 (child). For kids below 4 years old is free. They built a path with shed with the crocodile cage on the either side. There is a wooden platform for us to step on it to look at the crocodile. Too bad the platform is good for adult but not the kids. The kids will need the adults to carry them. There is a large lake where all the crocodiles can roam freely at this area. I cannot imagine myself if I fell into this place. I believe there are hundreds of crocodiles with various of sizes waiting for me. Actually this place is for the female crocodiles to find a nest to lay their eyes. They separate the crocodiles by their ages. I didn't see any baby crocodiles but this is the smallest that I have seen in the fa...
