To be honest, I never visit a restaurant more than one time except Kiraku Japanese Restaurant which I have posted about it the third time now. Please rest assure that this post is going to be different and will definitely excite you. The reason is because Kiraku Japanese restaurant is the only Japanese restaurant providing a very own private teppanyaki room with breath taking performance by the teppanyaki chef. They have 2 large rooms and 6 small rooms available.
The meat that I have ordered on that day is salmon @RM37.00++, chicken @RM28.00++, lamb @RM64.00++, beef and foie gras @RM79.00++. Anything you ordered under their teppanyaki menu session will be cooked in front of you.
Before those meat that I mentioned earlier, we had squid first which cost RM30.00++. Unfortunately, we had a bad start because of this. The squid is too salty to our liking. The only credit I can give is the squid is fresh.
The chef that we have on that day is called Chef Reya. She is one of the cutest chef that I have known so far. She got a great skill and big nice smile. If you would like to meet her, please make sure you do it fast because she is about to leave the restaurant back to her country, Thailand to get married and settle down there.
She got a dedicated heart to present the best meal in front of us. We are truly captivated by her sincerity in serving the best of hers to us. I am truly proud and lucky to have her as our teppanyaki chef on that day.
Just a simple meat that is divided to four of us but they are displayed in a way that makes us wanted to savor it right away. She also provide her very own special made sauce for us to taste. It is really unique and delicious. It has wasabi taste in it and definitely appetizing especially you mixed together with the tasty salmon. The chicken is less impressive because the meat is slightly hard to chew.
I thought the salmon I had earlier was the best but I was wrong after these were up later. They are the beef, foie gras and lamb. Even it is just a small size after divided into 4 of us, the beef is still able to bring out the natural grain fed meat fragrance into your mouth. As for the foie gras, this is the best ever foie gras that I have tasted so far. The foie gras is so soft and it melts gently on my tongue. The best part is it does not carries any weird and unpleasant taste that I usually had in other restaurant. Lastly, the lamb does has a strong gamey taste but that is how I like it to be done.

Pretty amazing eh? Even my goddaughter was impressed and excited by it. She never even blink! All credits go to Chef Reya. I would definitely recommend everyone to visit this restaurant just for their teppanyaki. It is truly amazing experience which you will never forget for life. I really hope Kiraku able to maintain this kind of quality forever. I wonder if they able to find a good replacement for the professional Chef Reya. She will definitely will be missed.
Total Damage: RM269.85 (4 pax) Ambiance: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Food Serving Speed: Moderate Will I Revisit?: Absolutely! Kiraku Japanese Restaurant P3-25, Shaftsbury Square, Persiaran Multimedia, Cyber 6, 63000 Cyberjaya Selangor Tel: 03-83186003 Business Hours: 11.30am - 3.00pm; 5.00pm - 10.00pm
There are two best bak kut teh in Kota Kinabalu that I have known so far. One is known as Yu Kee Bak Kut Teh and the other one is known as Sin Kee Bak Kut Teh. There are just located one street away from each other. However, both of them got the same jam packed customers as you can see from the picture above. You just cannot detect any available seat around. This is how good they are. The one and only chef in action to prepare the whole bak kut teh to all the patrons. The surprising part is the serving speed was extremely fast. Usually when you see so many people, you might think you will need to wait for quite some time but he can make sure you will get your food at the fastest speed. These are the prices after GST is imposed. They do have other dishes to serve too apart of their famous Bak Kut Teh. However, my advice is just stick with their Bak Kut Teh no matter how much the waiter/waitress to push you to order more. The moment you sit down, they will st...
Since Charlie Brown Cafe is not a good choice so we just have to select another better restaurant to dine in. In the end we decided to dine in a Vietnamese Restaurant which is called Du Viet. The reason we choose this restaurant is because Ann Jee cannot eat spicy food at all. I wonder if she is a true Malaysian. I really like their design here. They are very creative! We have most of the South East Asian food like Indonesian cuisine, Thai cuisine and Vietnamese cuisine. How come I never heard of Philippino cuisine? Or I am too naive to realize there is one? Please enlighten me! Alright, while waiting for someone to enlighten me...let me order something to eat first. Three Colours Delite @RM9.90++ Outlook: 4/5 Creativity: 4/5 Taste: 4/5 Price: 2/5 Overall: 3/5 - Pretty delicious but please do not compare with our local cendol because it has its own unique taste. However, I can drink 10 bowls of my favorite Mohamad Ishak bin Mohamad Ibrahim's Cendol . Sp...
It is my day with my little princess, Ying Ying. She is getting cuter every single day. We had our own sweet time at Coliseum Cafe & Grill Room. This restaurant has been operating since 1921 and this is the first time after 92 years, they started to branch out their restaurant to Plaza 33 and Mid Valley. This restaurant has clinched Malaysia Book of Records award for the "Longest Operating Western Colonial - Themed Restaurant. Their first ever restaurant is at Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman. It is not easy to sustain this long. They surely has their uniqueness in their menu to keep their customers happy. One of the reason is they are pork free restaurant. This easily encourage Malay citizens which stands more than 70% in Malaysia to enjoy western food in this restaurant. Mushroom Soup @RM10.90++ Outlook: 3/5 Creativity: 3/5 Taste: 2/5 Price: 3/5 Overall: 2/5 - I have made my own mushroom soup before so I understand how it is made. It is made from chicken s...
It has been quite some time I have not had butter crab in KL. The last memory is still vividly in my mind. To refresh my mind again, I decided to dine in Restoran New Wong Poh. I found this restaurant by just typing "Butter Crab in KL" and this restaurant name was listed 6 out of 10 results in the first page. This restaurant must be real good! Lala in Superior Soup @RM12.00++ Outlook: 3/5 Creativity: 4/5 Taste: 4/5 Price: 4/5 Overall: 3/5 - I know I am here with the main objective of feasting on their butter crab but their Lala in superior soup is something you really shouldn't miss. It is the best starter to have before the crab. Their superior soup is really full of lala taste in it with a wine kick. Extremely delicious. Apart of that, the lala meat is fat and chewy. The best part is the lala is fresh. So don't let yourself blinded by their butter crab and miss this superior soup. Butter Crab @RM55.00++ Outlook: 4/5 Creativity: 5/5 Taste...
Restoran Loon Sing which is located just at the exit of Nilai toll. This place will be the location for my brother to hold his wedding dinner this year. I pretty like the ample space of parking, the huge buildings of it which makes it so grand. This is how it looks like at night and this is the main entrance of the restaurant and the right side of it is their conventional halls which can fit more than thousands. If you have browse through their menu, you will see some of dishes are labelled with silver award or bronze award winning medal. Please do take note that the last award won was in 2006. I am quite curious why they do not have anymore rewards after that. Loon Sing Buddha Jumps Over The Wall @RM49.00++ Outlook: 4/5 Creativity: 3/5 Taste: 4/5 Price: 3/5 Overall: 3/5 - One of this restaurant's signature is their Buddha Jumps Over The Wall and this is the cheapest among all their version because it is without shark fin. Well, I am pretty much against eating shar...
What will people think first when we talk about Penang? Penang Hill? Batu Feringghi? Hard Rock Cafe? I doubt any of them come first but their local food! Penang famous with their local foods and that is the reason there are a lot of hawker center at Penang. One of them is at Jalan MacAlister. No name for this hawker center but the local good foods are concentrated here. A lot of hawker stall like this here. There are just too many to choose from. Prawn Mee @RM5.00 Outlook: 3/5 Creativity: 3/5 Taste: 3/5 Price: 2/5 Overall: 2/5 - As I mentioned in my previous post at Raodifang, I just hate to eat a prawn mee with small prawns in it. Loh Mee @RM5.00 Outlook: 3/5 Creativity: 3/5 Taste: 2/5 Price: 2/5 Overall: 2/5 - Nothing special for an expensive small portion. Carrot Cake in chinese style @RM6.00 Outlook: 3/5 Creativity: 4/5 Taste: 4/5 Price: 3/5 Overall: 3/5 - We ordered two plates and one plate is very delicious and fragrant but another one is too s...
I used to whine that Japanese cuisine in Johor Bahru is horrifying and disappointing until I meet Warakuya Japanese Garden at Mount Austin. From the exterior itself, this restaurant looks so grand and luxury. The first thing comes to my mind is the price will be hefty. However, when I saw the queue in front of the restaurant, I already doubt their price is going to be really expensive. I know people just loves good food but at the minimum price. Who doesn't anyway? One of the best part of the restaurant is they are providing 42" LCD TV, free flow of drinks and seating area for the queue. You will never know time flies when you are having those things at the waiting area. Something that Sushi Zanmai needs to consider. Mango Sushi @RM11.90++ Outlook: 5/5 Creativity: 5/5 Taste: 5/5 Price: 4/5 Overall: 4/5 - The moment I put the whole piece into my mouth, the sweetness of the mango already started to pamper my tongue. Once the biting started, the sweet taste is ge...
Seafood restaurants in Kota Kinabalu is just too many to be listed. However, among all of them, one of the most outstanding is Welcome Seafood Restaurant. Reason I am saying this is not just their food is delicious but also because they has the greatest crowd over here. Most of their tables are big round table which easily fit 10 pax and most of these tables are fully seated. When I reach there at 6.00pm, the crabs are these much. At 7.00pm, this aquarium is emptied. Ridiculously fast! Crab is gone. We still have live seafood for you to choose from. Or else frozen seafood to be choose from I prefer oyster like this. But I would like to try this oyster instead. This is not a wet towel. The first time I see their fork and spoon is packed in a plastic like this. Fresh Oyster @RM6.00/piece Outlook: 3/5 Creativity: 2/5 Taste: 3/5 Price: 2/5 Overall: 2/5 - The shell is super huge but the oyster is super small. However, the taste is fresh so no worries...

Not really much entertainment in Sandakan even though they are just beside the sea. No nice beach for water activities and the nearest island like Pulau Selingan and Turtle Island are about 90 minutes away. As for the town itself, basically is this bowling centre called Champ's which has a very nice and good condition bowling alley, bowling shoes and bowling bowls if to compare with bowling centres like in KL. Not very big at all for their bowling centre which only has 12 lanes. Their shoes look so new! Here is a demonstration on how to bowl. Looks pro...I wonder how is the end result. So what do guys think? Is it a strike? They have a lounge here as well. And a cafe too! The price of the bowling is cost at RM4.80 per game per pax. We went at their most peak hours so their price basically has not much different than our KL City price. As for the bowling shoes is chargeable at RM2.00 per pax. FYI, the prices not inclusive government ta...
