To be honest, I never visit a restaurant more than one time except Kiraku Japanese Restaurant which I have posted about it the third time now. Please rest assure that this post is going to be different and will definitely excite you. The reason is because Kiraku Japanese restaurant is the only Japanese restaurant providing a very own private teppanyaki room with breath taking performance by the teppanyaki chef. They have 2 large rooms and 6 small rooms available.
The meat that I have ordered on that day is salmon @RM37.00++, chicken @RM28.00++, lamb @RM64.00++, beef and foie gras @RM79.00++. Anything you ordered under their teppanyaki menu session will be cooked in front of you.
Before those meat that I mentioned earlier, we had squid first which cost RM30.00++. Unfortunately, we had a bad start because of this. The squid is too salty to our liking. The only credit I can give is the squid is fresh.
The chef that we have on that day is called Chef Reya. She is one of the cutest chef that I have known so far. She got a great skill and big nice smile. If you would like to meet her, please make sure you do it fast because she is about to leave the restaurant back to her country, Thailand to get married and settle down there.
She got a dedicated heart to present the best meal in front of us. We are truly captivated by her sincerity in serving the best of hers to us. I am truly proud and lucky to have her as our teppanyaki chef on that day.
Just a simple meat that is divided to four of us but they are displayed in a way that makes us wanted to savor it right away. She also provide her very own special made sauce for us to taste. It is really unique and delicious. It has wasabi taste in it and definitely appetizing especially you mixed together with the tasty salmon. The chicken is less impressive because the meat is slightly hard to chew.
I thought the salmon I had earlier was the best but I was wrong after these were up later. They are the beef, foie gras and lamb. Even it is just a small size after divided into 4 of us, the beef is still able to bring out the natural grain fed meat fragrance into your mouth. As for the foie gras, this is the best ever foie gras that I have tasted so far. The foie gras is so soft and it melts gently on my tongue. The best part is it does not carries any weird and unpleasant taste that I usually had in other restaurant. Lastly, the lamb does has a strong gamey taste but that is how I like it to be done.

Pretty amazing eh? Even my goddaughter was impressed and excited by it. She never even blink! All credits go to Chef Reya. I would definitely recommend everyone to visit this restaurant just for their teppanyaki. It is truly amazing experience which you will never forget for life. I really hope Kiraku able to maintain this kind of quality forever. I wonder if they able to find a good replacement for the professional Chef Reya. She will definitely will be missed.

I have been always wanted to get hold of a real gun and shoot like James Bond, Neo in Matrix and Max Payne. I have invited my buddy, Suyin who is very interested in it as well to accompany me. Thanks to ILoveDiscounts , this dream is no longer a dream and it is made possible and affordable to everyone. The link of the deal as follows: RM105 for a handgun experience + 25 Rounds of Ammo Before we attend, we are required to submit our passport photo, photocopy of our IC and filling up their Vetting form. Since this is a real gun and it is not a gun we are playing in a fun fair, we must adhere to their strict rules not just for prot...
I used to whine that Japanese cuisine in Johor Bahru is horrifying and disappointing until I meet Warakuya Japanese Garden at Mount Austin. From the exterior itself, this restaurant looks so grand and luxury. The first thing comes to my mind is the price will be hefty. However, when I saw the queue in front of the restaurant, I already doubt their price is going to be really expensive. I know people just loves good food but at the minimum price. Who doesn't anyway? One of the best part of the restaurant is they are providing 42" LCD TV, free flow of drinks and seating area for the queue. You will never know time flies when you are having those things at the waiting area. Something that Sushi Zanmai needs to consider. Mango Sushi @RM11.90++ Outlook: 5/5 Creativity: 5/5 Taste: 5/5 Price: 4/5 Overall: 4/5 - The moment I put the whole piece into my mouth, the sweetness of the mango already started to pamper my tongue. Once the biting started, the sweet taste is ge...
By the appearance of it, Restoran Yu Hing definitely doesn't look appealing enough to become a tourist spot for you as your dining choice. However, I am still going to introduce to you their noodle. They do serve other variety of food but something worth to be here is only their noodle which is known as Beaufort Fried Noodle. Beaufort is a name of a town in Sabah. This is their very own local delicacies which you won't find it easily at any part of Malaysia or even Sabah. You have to be either in Kota Kinabalu or Beaufort to experience it. We can even hardly able to find a table in this run-down looking restaurant which already suggest that how good they are. Beaufort Fried Noodle @RM9.70 Outlook: 3/5 Creativity: 4/5 Taste: 5/5 Price: 2/5 Overall: 3/5 - Still a common looking noodle to you which does not convince you why I am purposely creating a post just to introduce it? You have to come visit for yourself then. I think the same too when it is displayed right in f...
The best porridge I had so far is at Hon Kee Porridge which is located at Petaling Street. This place is not really new to everyone anymore as their name has been made in the TV food shows too. They have 6 outlets selling their famous porridge. The others are in a shop and much more cleaner than this one which is in an attap stall. They have started their business since 1949 and originated from Petaling Street before spreading out to other branches. The great thing is even though they start to be commercialized but their quality is still tip-top! Today, I have my girl to accompany for our morning breakfast. The only shot i am able to take on the stall as they restricted us from taking photos of their stall. Maybe we might taken the photo of their secret recipe. Their porridge, very smooth and delicious, Even a plain porridge like this can make me want to eat one more bowl. The choices of porridge available are Steamed Chicken Porridge, Raw Sliced Fish with Porridge, Centu...
This is the first time I use a voucher from Groupon . The link for the deal as below: Lamb Chop Set Dinner at Rush Hours Gastropub for RM21 instead of RM55.44 To shorten your reading, this is a set dinner comes with appetizer + main course for only RM21. Yes, drinks are not included but taxes for the food are. You will be given three choices of main courses which are: 1) Signature Lamb Chop 2) Fish and Chips 3) Spicy Chicken Cutlet So this is the place where we dine, it is located at corner lot. Not hard to find actually and the parking is free with a lot of parking space available. Note: Please pardon me for the following photos as it is quite hard for my camera to take under a blue lighting environment. I think I should get an external flash! Anyone please....sponsor me!!! TQVM That is the place we were being placed. Very nice cozy area but it is not a good place for dining thou. They have a DJ playing R&B and Pop music. Apart of that, they have liv...
The Ship is one of the oldest steakhouse in Malaysia. So expectation on them are truly high. They are creative enough to decorate the whole restaurant like an old warship concept. Their waiter/waitress dressed like a sailor and their managers dressed like captains. They have other branches in Bukit Bintang, Pertama Kompleks, Petaling Jaya, Batu Feringghi (Penang) and Sri Bahari (Penang) Complimentary bread Complimentary Salad Escargots Bourguinonne Outlook: 3/5 Creativity: 3/5 Taste: 3/5 Price: N/A Overall: 3/5 - Escargot is a sea snail. Maybe when you heard of snail you might already say NO to it. Let me assured you that, if a chef in the restaurant knows how to cook it well, it can be extremely delicious. Trust me. But The Ship does not make it that way. So you can skip it if you like. A close shot on how you eat the escargot. Sizzling Chicken Fillet Outlook: 3/5 Creativity: 4/5 Taste: 3/5 Price: N/A Overall: 3/5 - Please have your han...
My first mountain camping experience happened at Gunung Datuk which is located at Kota, Negeri Sembilan. By the way, that's not how I get to the peak of the Gunung Datuk if you are wondering. Like anyone else, we were hiking up to the mountain. The weather on that day was not so friendly to us but we have prepared ourselves for the worst. There is no need for a guide as the trail is very obvious. The difficulty is easy to moderate. The toughest part for me is the first 1 hour of the climb which is very steep. If having a pair of walking stick will help a lot with the climb. Previously, we had already soaked our legs in the water for long hours during our caving adventure at Gua Batu Maloi . In addition to that, the heavy rains had caused our muscles to cramp easily. I had all my calf muscles cramped up the moment I reached the top. I was in agonizing pain throughout the remaining 1 hour of the track but I still pushing myself to the top and not giving up. By th...
This is my first time dining at Sentul and glad to know this great Chinese restaurant which is known as Restoran Makanan Laut Lau Heong. This is the crowd at 6.00pm on Sunday. Crazy right? Let you see from another angle. They just own one shop lot but seems like owning an extra 4 parking space but still they are people standing and waiting for their seat including me! Curry Fish Head @RM25.00 Outlook: 4/5 Creativity: 4/5 Taste: 4/5 Price: 3/5 Overall: 3/5 - This is their signature. You can choose a normal fish meat or a fish head like this. The curry is not really spicy at all. It contains more coconut milk taste than the curry itself. The fragrance of the curry and the coconut milk work perfectly. I can smell it before it is served. The fish heads are soft, tender, fresh and delicious. Highly recommend to everyone to try. Ginger Squid and Prawn @RM18.00 Outlook: 4/5 Creativity: 5/5 Taste: 5/5 Price: 2/5 Overall: 4/5 - Hardly taste the ginger but what makes me...
Never know about this place until I watched Ah Xian from the TV Programme which is known as "Taste with Jason". This restaurant is known as Chong Siew Lam Restaurant. No signboard to show this place but this is the only the crowded place in the whole street. They only serve for lunch so do expect great crowd roaming to this place between 12.00pm to 2.00pm. Steamed Tilapia Fish Head @RM20.00 Outlook: 4/5 Creativity: 5/5 Taste: 5/5 Price: 4/5 Overall: 4/5 - Tilapia is a freshwater fish and the best is to steam it. Without a doubt, they did it very well. The meat is so fresh but what is the best part is the gravy. Not sure how they made it but it brings a little wine taste in it with spicy kick. Absolutely uniquely delicious! Steam Salted Chicken @RM22.00 Outlook: 4/5 Creativity: 4/5 Taste: 4/5 Price: 3/5 Overall: 3/5 - By steaming the chicken like that, the gravy has already penetrated the entire chicken meat. If you just eat the chicken itself, it i...
Not really much entertainment in Sandakan even though they are just beside the sea. No nice beach for water activities and the nearest island like Pulau Selingan and Turtle Island are about 90 minutes away. As for the town itself, basically is this bowling centre called Champ's which has a very nice and good condition bowling alley, bowling shoes and bowling bowls if to compare with bowling centres like in KL. Not very big at all for their bowling centre which only has 12 lanes. Their shoes look so new! Here is a demonstration on how to bowl. Looks pro...I wonder how is the end result. So what do guys think? Is it a strike? They have a lounge here as well. And a cafe too! The price of the bowling is cost at RM4.80 per game per pax. We went at their most peak hours so their price basically has not much different than our KL City price. As for the bowling shoes is chargeable at RM2.00 per pax. FYI, the prices not inclusive government ta...
