Thirty 8 @Grand Hyatt Hotel

Thirty 8 at Grand Hyatt Hotel serves international cuisine. International cuisine means their menu is vary from western food, Indian, Chinese, Local, Japanese and much more. If you do not know what to eat on that day, maybe you should be thinking for this international cuisine.
Located at 38 floor with a dedicated lift which will direct you straight to Level 38 and you can choose between another lift or a staircase to walk a floor down as what you can see from the picture. The lift is purposely made to go one floor down to the restaurant only. Hmm...very weird design.
The main highlight of this restaurant is their astonishing view of the Petronas twin towers! Great for couples to celebrate their special day.
What is more romantic is there is a live jazz band to bring the mood to the night.
I used to see hotel or restaurant serves breads as complimentary but this is the first time I got a naan bread. Hmm...not really my favourite because I do not like a salty bread.
Ordered their healthy drinks which are mixed fruits and vegetables. Each cost at RM18.00/glass for a 8oz.
Crab Cakes @RM60.00++
Outlook: 4/5
Creativity: 5/5
Taste: 4/5
Price: 1/5
Overall: 3/5 - Very crispy outside and a little juicy inside which contains lots of minced crab meat. The crab meat is so sweet, fresh and delightful. I can assure you that one is just not enough but the price is quite hefty for you to get another plate.

Australian Black Angus Ribeye @RM180.00++
Outlook: 3/5
Creativity: 4/5
Taste: 3/5
Price: 2/5
Overall: 3/5 - I should have asked them to make a new one because the steak is over grilled. You can see there are several dark spots which is scorched. I am being too nice. However, I do believe it will be good if is done right. I just felt the meat will be wasted if I asked them to change. Anyway, this steak comes with 4 different sauces to accompany with to experience every piece of meat with different taste. The idea is there but the end product is not up to standard.

Wok Fried Shezhuan Chicken @RM50.00++
Outlook: 2/5
Creativity: 2/5
Taste: 1/5
Price: 1/5
Overall: 1/5 - Chicken is very hard to chew. A lot of dried chillies but I did not taste any spiciness in it. The price is so scary at RM50.00++ for this bowl of don't know what in it. Who ordered this??

Mopo Tofu @RM30.00++
Outlook: 4/5
Creativity: 4/5
Taste: 4/5
Price: 2/5
Overall: 3/5 - Finally there is something for me to eat together with my rice (RM3.00/bowl). Very delicious and the spiciness is just suit my taste bud. The tofu is soft and tender.

Wow! Restaurants lately just love to make fancy dessert.
T8 Cake @RM25.00++
Outlook: 4/5
Creativity: 5/5
Taste: 4/5
Price: 3/5
Overall: 3/5 - It is amazing that it looks like a simple chocolate cake but when you bite it, you feel that there are more than one type of chocolates in it. This dessert is only recommended for chocolate lover.

Very high class hotel with a high class restaurant at the high class view. Perfect romantic place to celebrating something special. However, too bad that their food is not up to my standard. One thing is good to mention about this restaurant is their service is top class.
Total Damage: RM466.30
Ambiance: 5/5
Service: 5/5
Food Serving Speed: Moderate
Will I Revisit?: No but if you just want a romantic place, please go ahead. Not recommended if you are looking for a good food.
