Jonker 88, Melaka

After having the famous chicken rice ball at Kedai Kopi Chung Wah, just walk along the road  of Jalan Hang Jebat, you will see another famous restaurant which is known as Jonker 88. If you cannot find the place, just ask anyone from a shop along the road about this place, they will surely able to lead you there. Too famous!
One of the must order food here is the laksa from Ah Mah Laksa. So many choices to choose from in this little stall of Ah Mah.
Here is the Ah Mah. Not really old for me but just a little too much white hair only.
The next to order is the famous cendol here. This is what makes this place famous of. Oh, btw...the food here are sold in self-service basis.
They opened in a very old building which left over untouched for hundreds year ago.
Having these old antiques will just given more the vintage feeling about this old shop.
Displaying the foreign currency notes and other historical picture about this places for you to understand more about them.

Overall: 3/5 - There are two types of famous laksa serve here which are Nyonya Laksa which is the same like Penang laksa and what I have ordered is a Baba laksa which is a coconut spicy based. I love this the most when you asked for a thick noodle. Perfect! Rich coconut milk and little spicy kick with no sourish flavour like the Penang laksa. It is another laksa experience for me.
