Apart of enjoying the sea, you also can enjoy jungle trekking in this island. In this part one, I will show you the jungle trekking adventure from Arwana Jetty to Perhentian Island Resort.  This walk through the forest will takes you about 30 minutes. Basically nothing much to see in this little forest and nothing to be afraid about because there is a ready pathway for you to walk on. After a tough walk through the forest, I finally reached this beach solely owned by Perhentian Island Resort.  This resort is very high class and with their very own individual chalet. There is only one restaurant here which serves buffet style only. Most patrons here are foreigners. The wave is so strong over this beach. Easily being wash ashore. Arwana Jetty is named based of this resort which is called Arwana Perhentian Resort which is the highest class among all the other resorts in this part of the beach. From this decoration can understand the restaurant here will cost you a bomb. This is the only restaurants on this beach with 10% service tax and 6% government tax implied. Coconut @RM5.00++ - Amazingly, this is the cheapest drink in the menu. This is an old coconut so only expect to drink but not to eat. Watermelon Lassi @RM10.00++ - This is the best lassi drink I ever had! Next I had my lunch at Bayu Dive Lodge. The choices during lunch hour is much more worse than dinner. The choices I meant is about the lunch menu. Mostly their lunch menu is for their own divers which is free of charge. Bayu Special @RM6.00 - Very interesting and refreshing cucumber juice which I believe you should give it a try. Orange Lassi @RM11.00 -  You must try lassi drink when you are here. Almost all the restaurants are selling this drink. Very delicious drink but this one is still far off. Food along Arwana Jetty Beach is pretty limited to 5 restaurants only. According to my dive instructor, the best is B'First Cafe among all the restaurants. So I would just head there as for the start. However, he did warned us that this restaurant took the longest time to cook because there is only one cook in the restaurant. In the end it took us for 1 hour and 30 minutes for us to get our food below. Did my Advanced Open Water Course (AOW) here Pulau Perhentian Besar with Urban Island. RM900.00/person includes return boat, lunch, equipment, certification and 5 skill dives. FYI, accommodation is not included. Peak Buoyancy, Deep Dive and Underwater Navigation are compulsory skill dives. Optional dives that I took are my favourite Wreck Dive and Night Dive. On the way to Pulau Perhentian! There are a lot of jetty in every each Pulau Perhentian Besar and Pulau Perhentian Kecil . I will just name the famous jetties at Pulau Perhentian Besar which are Arwana Jetty, Perhentian Island Resort and Tuna Bay. While Pulau Perhentian Kecil which are Coral Bay and Long Beach. The boat ticket depends on the season which are RM90.00/return for high season (April - October) and RM100.00/return for low season (November - March). The price does include Marine Conservation Fee of RM5.00/pax. This fund will be given to our local government. Off we go to our desire destination which is Arwana Jetty.
