Tribute to 4 Heavenly Kings Show in Genting

Aaron Kwok, Andy Lau, Leon Lai and Jacky Cheung are known as the 4 Heavenly Kings in Hong Kong entertainment industry. They have made their name during the 80s and 90s and the amazing part is they are still held in awe to this day. The best way to pay the tribute to these four heavenly kings is definitely finding someone who not just able to sing exactly like them but must look exactly like them too! This is what has done by the 4 impersonators who are known as Andy Wah, Leon Li, Ken and Wah D. These 4 impersonators are going to give us a great performance in the Tribute to 4 Heavenly Kings show at Genting Highlands.
Leon Li had ties with the man he impersonates—he was Leon Lai's substitute in the movie, One Night Surprise. He has also won several awards for his impersonating efforts and has since 2007 performed with Wah D, Ken and Andy Wah in concerts held in various countries.
Among all the 4 impersonators, he is the most resemble with his original. Not just his look but every gestures, movements, singing and pose exactly the same like Leon Lai. I wouldn't be surprised if he got the glamour from Leon Lai wherever he goes.
Ken who plays Aaron Kwok, has also won several awards including the one he bagged in a singing competition in 2006. In 2008, he was invited by HBS to perform at a Christmas concert and in 2011, he won yet another competition for being the “strongest vocal imitation.”
He was the most amazing and outstanding performer on that night. He did all the dance moves exactly like what Aaron Kwok will does in his songs. You will definitely be entertained with his performance.
Andy Wah has performed with Andy Lau, featuring in the latter's World Tour concert a number of times. Fans can easily imagine him as the real thing when he delivers Andy Lau's classic songs—something he has done successfully over the years in various places including Indonesia, Macau, Shenzhen, Fuzhou and Hong Kong.
Every each of the impersonators is no lightweight. They really did a lot of homework with their songs. All their songs will get you to spark some memories from the past and remembering the days when you were still young. It happened to me on every song they sang. Without you realized, you will beginning to sing together with them.
Wah D is a Hakka Chinese pop music pioneer and has won a number of awards for his work in impersonating Jacky Cheung. In 2000, he was the champion in the Beijing Television Jacky Cheung impersonating competition, and in 2004, he won a similar competition for Hong Kong TVB. He was the first singer to release a Hakka album in mainland China and Malaysia, and in 2009, he released a Hakka album in Hong Kong and successfully performed at the Hong Kong Coliseum. The same year, he also performed at the 13th Guangdong Games. He has over the years held concerts in Singapore, Australia, Canada, Indonesia and Malaysia.
Jacky Cheung is my favourite among the four and Wah D impersonated him very well as if I am really watching a live concert by Jacky Cheung himself.
In the end of their show, they will sing just one song together. Four heavenly kings are singing together, by just imaging of it, the scene was incredibly fantastic.
They would get close and personal with the audience by giving their friendly handshakes. The total show was just 90 minutes which is kind of short. You would definitely want them to perform longer by singing more nostalgic songs to you.
They sing both mandarin and cantonese songs and they nailed the both languages perfectly.
I would like to give special credit to the musical team. They are doing a great job by non-stop for 90 minutes performing for each one of the impersonators. Good job for them for bringing the night alive!
Before you leave the hall, please do not forget to take a memorable pictures with all of them. They are very friendly and will definitely cooperate with you to give their best pose. So do not hesitate to go to Genting Highlands to catch their show. The price is RM99.00 for PS1 seat and RM129.00 for VIP seat. The show is started everyday at 9.00pm until 9th September 2016. Side note: Do not take any form of videography or using flash during the concert.
