Bistro A Table, Seksyen 17
I was here at Bistro A Table after a recommendation by my friend online. Since it was specially recommended, and it's been a long time since I last posted about French cuisines, here it is: |
This is what you see on the right when you make the entrance into this restaurant. |
The lighting inside was quite dim. A romantic atmosphere to the diner, for sure, but also increased difficulty for my food photography session. |
That's the light source. Very creative with Orchid plant hanging there. |
Some of their personal collections of French posters to create the feel of dining in France. |
The restaurant owner seemed to like Orchid very much. You can them everywhere in the restaurant. NOTE: They are real flowers. |
Such an ambiance, a glass of Prosecco Champagne @RM30.00++/glass is just perfect to go with it! |

Overall: 3/5 - "Just one single piece of duck drumstick and it costs RM58.00++!" you would probably think so. But trust me, after I took the first bite, I gotta say it was worth it. They really made you feel the money you spent was worth it. The duck meat was really soft; soft enough that there wasn't much chewing work left to do. This was their 8-hour Duck Confit with candied kumquats and puy lentils.

Overall: 3/5 - Dukkah is a traditional Egyptian side dish consisting of herbs, nuts and spices, which is typically used as a dip with bread and olive oil or fresh vegetables. So the lamb rack was served Dukkah style, along with Kataifi-wrapped chevre with beet puree. I could hardly taste anything gamey but if you still do, have the lamb meat together with pink cheese and it should do the trick.

Overall: 4/5 - This was the most amazing dessert I had ever had in my whole life. It was a combination of two desserts, consisting of the creme soufflé and a cup of hot ginger beer with vanilla ice cream. So, how do you go about eating this? Make a small hole on top of the soufflé and pour down the creme into it. Then, start with the fluffy soufflé first. I gotta say, this was the best ever soufflé I had had so far and it was far better than the one I had at the Strawberry Forever Dessert Cafe. Anyway, while you're enjoying your soufflé, notice how the lemongrass ice with vanilla ice cream slowly melts away into the hot ginger beer.
