Pho Vietz, Sri Petaling

It has been a long time since I have tried a Vietnamese Cuisine. Thanks to my dearest sister, Elayne, I got to know there is a new restaurant which is known as Pho Vietz serving authentic Vietnamese cuisine in the neighbourhood. Pho Vietz in Sri Petaling is not their first restaurant. They have already established themselves in Damansara and Petaling Jaya.
Vietnamese Dripping Coffee @RM7.90++ is Vietnamese signature drink. You do not have to put any sugar in it. It tastes good enough without it and even sugar.
Fresh Ciku Milkshake @RM9.90++ is something new to me. It looks like iced milk tea and the taste is so sweet which I believe they have added too much artificial sugar in it. I don't believe a fresh ciku can be this sweet.

Overall: 3/5 - It is somewhat same like one of the famous Hong Kong dessert which is known as Put Zhai Gou which is using sweet red bean. Meanwhile as for this, they are using pork meat instead. It carries a little saltiness which gives the plain taste of the glutinous flour.

Spring Roll Chicken Vermicelli @RM14.90++

Overall: 4/5 - This is a dry vermicelli which you need to put their sweet chili sauce as the gravy to mix them all together. I really love their Vietnamese spring roll and their roasted chicken. It is so fragrant and you will be hoping for them to put more in it. As for the vermicelli, when all their herbs and sauce mixing together, it becomes no longer dry and the herbs have absorb in it. It is truly an awesome dish. That's why I love Vietnamese food because they are good at mixing the herbs in their dishes.

Chicken Noodle Soup @RM17.90++
Outlook: 3/5
Creativity: 2/5
Taste: 3/5
Price: 2/5
Overall: 2/5 - It is just a simple kuey teow chicken clear soup with fancy herbs in it. This is a disappointing one. The chicken is not as good as our Chinese Hainanese chicken and the noodle is the common noodle that we used to eat in a Nga Choi Gai restaurant. Simply lack of their own creativity except the soup is rich of herbs fragrance in it.

Overall, I still like Vietnamese cuisine no matter what because Vietnamese cuisine in Malaysia is very limited. I would come back again to try some other dishes despite their prices is quite expensive. Actually all the above dishes are cost less than RM10.00 in Vietnam.
