Lafite @Shangri-La Hotel

Image
Another high class restaurant to introduce for everyone to celebrate with their special one during special days. This is the Lafite restaurant which is located inside the Shangri-La Hotel KL. It is a French restaurant serving their finest French Cuisine by chef Jean-Philippe Guiard. Please take note that you need to wear casual formal which means with collar and long pants and shoes for the men and dress for the ladies. Otherwise you will be restricted from dining in this restaurant. French cuisine will always remind us about Jerome and Elise whom we missed so much after our experience together at Koh Lipe and Penang . I guess our new French friends are still traveling around the world. Well, hope that they are enjoying themselves as much as they can. Delicious complimentary breads for us to eat while waiting. Truly genuine French bread with 6 different kind of breads. We had their 6 course dinner which cost @RM330.00++ per pax.  Complimentary appetizer which is made fro

Ippudo KL, Pavillion Mall

Ippudo Japanese Restaurant has finally come to KL! This world renowned Ramen restaurant which I known about them while I was in Singapore. However, they already have branches at Seoul, Hong Kong, Sydney, Shanghai and Taiwan. Of course they are originally from Fukuoka, Japan.  The uniqueness of this ramen restaurant is you will consistently hear all the staffs in the restaurant saying "Irasshaimase!" means "Come on in!" and when you leave the restaurant you will hear all the staffs saying "Arigato-gozaimashita!" means "Thank you very much!". When I mean all the staffs, I really do mean "ALL"!  Bakuretsu Tofu @RM18.00++ Outlook: 4/5 Creativity: 4/5 Taste: 5/5 Price: 4/5 Overall: 4/5 - This is really legendary hot & spicy flavor! It is a spicy tofu and minced pork with crispy noodle in hot stone pot. The spiciness is truly spicy BUT it does not have the feeling to hurt your throat. Highly recommended and I believe I can

Teeq Restaurant @Roof Top, Lot10

Image
I have been to the roof top restaurants at Thailand and Singapore but this is my first time experience to dine on the rooftop in Malaysia. The name of this restaurant is called Teeq Restaurant located at the roof top of Lot10 Shopping Center with this amazing small park. The interior design in this restaurant is very high class and the light is quite dim. So it is a challenge for my food photography. Please forgive me if it does not looks appetizing to you. Sex on the Beach @RM28.00++ - Always a good choice for the girls. Screaming Orgasm @RM24.00++ - This is an awkward name for a drink. Can you imagine how awkward I am when I wanted to order this drink especially the restaurant is so quiet? "I want this...errr...this...Screaming....Orrrrr...gassssm..." LOL Delicious complimentary bread for us while waiting. You can request for top up if you wanted for more. Butter Milk Shrimp Outlook: 4/5 Creativity: 4/5 Taste: 4/5 Overall: 4/5 - This is one of t

Nama Kaki (Half Dozen) @RM88.00++ Outlook: 4/5 Creativity: 3/5 Taste: 1/5 Price: 1/5 Overall: 2/5 - Not fresh and expensive. A real let down! Jikasei Zaru Tofu Ankake @RM18.00++ Outlook: 3/5 Creativity: 3/5 Taste: 3/5 Price: 2/5 Overall: 2/5 - It is a very small cup probably a common chawanmushi bowl is larger than this. It is a cold tasteless tofu which cost almost RM20.00. Terrible! Spicy Soft Shell Crab @RM16.00++ Outlook: 2/5 Creativity: 1/5 Taste: 2/5 Price: 2/5 Overall: 1/5 - The soft shell crab is lack of fragrance. The most terrible part is the spicy part of the soft shell crab is actually comes from the common chili sauce. Maybe it is their own homemade chili sauce but to me it taste like a common chili sauce which you can get it in th

Waku Waku @MidValley Megamall

Image
From Pet's Wonderland to Sushi King and now is Waku Waku. So many shops and restaurants has taken over this lot which it supposed should be a popular area. Waku Waku is a Japanese Restaurant which they are specialized in hamburger. A Japanese hamburger is not the one with bun like we used to have and know but it is a just a piece of minced meat which you usually see in a burger only. Matcha Float - RM9.90++. This is a normal green tea with lotsa green tea powder taste in it. Not really worth it. Kurogoma Vanilla @RM9.90++. This is a recommended drink especially to black sesame lover. Rich and thick black sesame taste roam into my mouth which I love it so much. Marinated Salmon Kinoko @RM15.90++ Outlook: 3/5 Creativity: 4/5 Taste: 4/5 Price: 3/5 Overall: 3/5 - Not a lot of pieces of salmon in it but every piece of it are equally good. Bai Wan Kui Yuan, Guangzhou

Image
Bai Wan Kui Yuan is a place where lots of types of amazing flowers are planted here. There are so many species here at different season to expect. Right now is summer so let's see what kind of flowers they have during this season. The entrance fee is costing CNY95.00 (weekdays) and CNY110.00 (weekdays). Child rate cost 50% from the adult rate. The first thing we walk into the entrance is not the flowers to see but birds. That's weird. Now not just birds but piglets! Oh my, where are the flowers? Still no flowers but we have a lots of this type of dogs here. This is the type that is the favorite for the people of China. Hello Kitty! The is a gallery inside here with full of Hello Kitty! soft toys in it. This makes me think of a friend of mine in Brunei, Mars Liew . She is crazy for this. This place here is very hot during the summer. The only place with air-conditioned is this gallery with restaurants in it. This is the only place to grab your food. Som
