清远国际酒店点心,Qingyuan

This round I would like to introduce the dim sum at China. I went to a hotel restaurant which is known to serve good dim sum. The name of the restaurant is called 清远国际酒店点心. Tea set is a must order drinks either you like to drink tea or not.
Even you insist that you do not wish to drink anything or wanted to drink something else, a high class restaurant like this will still charge you the tea charges in per head charges. Price is ranging from RMB10 - RMB20 per person. So please do not make a big havoc if you see such charges in your bill even you did not order a tea.
Durian Pancake @RMB19.00

Overall: 3/5 - Most likely made from Thai durian. Thai durian is always known as a big shell with not delicious meat inside. So does this pancake.

Porridge with Century Egg @RMB13.00
Outlook: 4/5
Creativity: 4/5
Taste: 5/5
Price: 3/5
Overall: 4/5 - I really do not how to make such a smooth porridge and in China, making such quality porridge is like a piece of cake for them. I really hope such recipe can be given to our Chinese Malaysian.

Ha Kao @RMB19.00

Overall: 3/5 - Look at the transparent skin wrapping the fresh prawn with pork. I absolutely almost unable to taste the skin wrapping it.

Golden Yoke Bun @RMB19.00
Outlook: 4/5
Creativity: 4/5
Taste: 4/5
Price: 3/5
Overall: 3/5 - Full of egg yoke with little flour to taste. Almost the taste I like but still got room to improve because I have tried a better one at Guangzhou which I will post soon.

A closer look...
Malay Cake @RMB13.00
Outlook: 4/5
Creativity: 3/5
Taste: 3/5
Price: 3/5
Overall: 3/5 - I still prefer Malay cake which is made by our own beloved country. This is way far off to match our standard.

Shanghai Xiao Long Bao @RMB13.00
Outlook: 4/5
Creativity: 4/5
Taste: 3/5
Price: 3/5
Overall: 3/5 - Lack of superior soup. I need more soup to explode in my mouth...this is almost dried up.

Steamed Prawn Dumplings @RMB19.00
Outlook: 4/5
Creativity: 3/5
Taste: 2/5
Price: 3/5
Overall: 3/5 - This is the worst among all because the prawn is not fresh and the skin is a little hard.

Overall this restaurant is a bit overpriced but it is consider not bad already for able to find a decent dim sum at Qingyuan. We both enjoy ourselves a lot.
