Image
Okay, I better post a Klang Valley location before someone thought that I am focusing other places rather than Klang Valley ;p. So this time I will bring you to Restoran Bee Won Korean BBQ which is opened at KL Festival City. KL Festival city is a newly opened mall which located along Jalan Genting Klang. Together with the unfamiliar face is my old buddy which I am very hard to get her out for so long and this time...I am lucky enough! Hehe...thanks, bud! Let me introduce you, Ms. Grace Ng. Actually not much restaurant to be chosen in this mall. I have to make a hard decision before I ended up with this. Sam Gyup Sal is in Korean which is known as Three Layered Flesh and this is a pork belly. I can see a nice color saturation of fat and meat! Sam Gyup Sal @RM19.00 Outlook: 3/5 Creativity: 3/5 Taste: 3/5 Price: 4/5 Overall: 3/5 - It is just nice for a price like this. So I do not have higher expectation for it.  Next on the hot plate will be chicken!

Peppermint Vietnamese Restaurant, Kota Kinabalu

This is my last post at Kota Kinabalu. So I would like to try something different which is a Vietnamese chicken rice. The restaurant name is called Peppermint Vietnamese Restaurant. It is located in the Karamunsing Capital. Vietnamese Coffee @RM3.50. Vietnam famous with their Vietnamese Coffee. This is their way to make the coffee. When the coffee finished dripping into the cup, then you are ready to drink. Pretty good drink according to my Guilin friends. I am not a caffeine lover so I unable to appreciate this great drink. Cincau Milk @RM2.80. Their cincau milk is has additional gula melaka a.k.a brown sugar in it. Taste not bad at all. Their fragrance rice which is really fragrant. No kidding about it. Special Chicken Rice @RM6.00 Outlook: 4/5 Creativity: 4/5 Taste: 4/5 Price: 4/5 Overall: 4/5 - Slight crispy chicken which brings out the unique different taste than the normal Chinese chicken rice we used to have. The amount of chicken given is not stingy at

Kinabalu National Park, Ranau

Since coming to Kota Kinabalu, Kinabalu National Park is a must visit location even you do not plan to climb. I also hope that our proud Mount Kinabalu can impressed my new Guilin friends. For your information, if you are from Kota Kinabalu, please use Tuaran - Ranau road instead of Penampang - Ranau road. I used twice of my journey time by using Penampang - Ranau road. It was a terrible mistake but not because of the mistake, I will not get this shot. Here are the fees if you are asking. However, that day we did not pay anything because I do not see anyone in the entrance to collect our fee. So we just entered. Lucky us! Welcome to Kinabalu National Park!  Take nothing but photographs, leave nothing but footprints...keep it in mind! More rules and regulations when you want to go for the climb. A brief introduction about this park. Since this location is at the higher ground, the temperature is just nice for a flower like this. Unfortunately, I was the

Jin Jin Foods Hawker Centre @Taman Tun Fuad Stephens

During my days in Kota Kinabalu, I do not even see a drop of rain. It is a good thing when I keep travelling around on the road to visit one place and another. The only thing is the weather is crazily hot! I have no choice but look for ABC, cendol or anything to sort out our hotness throughout our bodies. So finally we passed by Taman Tun Fuad Stephen and I planned to have their ABC special inside a stall called Jin Jin Foods Hawker Centre. Look at all the ABC fruit special we ordered. Quite messy to me   ABC Fruit Special @RM6.00 Outlook: 3/5 Creativity: 3/5 Taste: 3/5 Price: 3/5 Overall: 3/5 - It is a life saver when have this during the super hot weather. Regarding the quality and the taste, the ice is still quite thick but the most the most letdown is still the watermelon seed. It is annoying when you drink this dessert and it has so many watermelon seeds which hardly to eat and swallow. Just come here for the chill only when you pas by this place. Other

Tuaran Mee Restoran, Kota Kinabalu

Since I am already at Tuaran after visited Rumah Terbalik, we have long heard about the famous Tuaran Mee. Therefore, I brought all of them to Tuaran Mee Restoran which is specialized in this mee. Yellow Wine Pork Noodle @RM7.00 Outlook: 4/5 Creativity: 4/5 Taste: 4/5 Price: 2/5 Overall: 3/5 - What special about Tuaran Mee is their noodle gives you a slight crispy feeling. It reminds me when I eat Mamee Instant Noodle. So it is quite delicious for the first few bites but after near end, you will feel that you can't go on because the noodle is too dry. However, the yellow wine gravy can last the wetness for a while. Tuaran Mee @RM6.00 Outlook: 3/5 Creativity: 4/5 Taste: 3/5 Price: 2/5 Overall: 3/5 - Same noodle. The only difference is the meat are BBQ pork and roasted pork. This noodle is much drier. Quite hard to swallow after that. Ham Kit Sui @RM2.20 - It is quite weird to drink a salty water.   As always, here comes the conclusion. It is recomm

This is the first ever Rumah Terbalik in Malaysia and it is just opened for public lately on the 1st February 2012. So it is still very new and people wanted to be there first to see the amazing structure. The entrance fee is RM10.00 while for non Malaysian is RM18.00. For children between 3 - 12 years will be RM5.00. They even have our Kancil placed upside down. I hope they will maintained it very well so that it will not fall down one day. Since the house is defying the rule of gravity, so my fellow new friends from Guilin, China are trying to do so in a picture instead. A group photo before we enter the house. I hope they do like to visit this unique structure somehow.  Even the wheelbarrow, flower pots and other tools they make it upside down. I bet the flowers are fake.  Hey, you should hit the gong instead of her head before you enter the house.   For your information, you are not allowed to take any pictures inside the house. The reason is they do not
