Enough about my food adventure in Sandakan which might have bored some of you who does not have any interest at that place. So let me bring you to a nice tea time at San Terri Cottage at Hartamas Shopping Centre. Lately, I very indulge with tea time which I find it pretty important especially with whom we are having the tea with. So today I have the DJ wannabe, April Tang who is going to be around with us for today.

Overall: 3/5 - Taste very refreshing and calming. It is a good flower tea to have during the afternoon. Refilling hot water is free and even after refill the taste is still strong.

Overall: 4/5 - The package is together with the Hot Latte which require additional top up of RM1.00 from their ordinary coffee and tea. They have a lot of choices for their sandwiches with more than 10 different kinds of toppings. Not just unique but delicious too! MUST try their sandwich here!

Overall: 3/5 - This is a very delicious Tiramisu indeed. Not too sweet and the taste blended very well. I love it. It is a MUST have dessert and especially to all Tiramisu lovers.

A very fantasy design with lots of cakes available to choose from. Unfortunately they does not serves scones and they does not have those 3-tier afternoon sets to serve us which maybe a minus point for those who loves to see a 3-tier afternoon sets in front of them like me. Hahaha...oh, btw...they have 6 other branches at Menara Hap Seng, The Gardens, Pavillion, Persiaran Akuatik, Bangsar Village II and Medan Putra Business Centre.
Splendid design with super comfy sofas which we wouldn't want to move our butt away from the place. However, their service is ridiculously poor. 3 waiters and waitress but seems like only one is working. No matter how I wave my hand, no one seems to see me. Really disappointing.

Sports Shooting Club Hatyai (SSC)

Most of people think if you travel to Hatyai and not visiting their temples, you are just wasting your time at Hatyai. As for my personal opinion, if you come to Hatyai and did not go to Sports Shooting Club (SSC) Hatyai to experience the shooting experience with a real gun, I think you are not just wasting your time at Hatyai but you are wasting your time being a human. You only live once and there is no better way to understand these guns than coming over to SSC.   Their gun selections are enough to satisfy your urge. From rifle, pistols, revolvers to shotguns. You would be surprised that their rifle is the cheapest. The price is stated from 890 baht nett for a 15 rounds.  I have tried the rifle, beretta and this Smith and Wesson 4506 .45 ACP. This 45 is my favorite among all with 50m shooting range and 8+1 capacity. One of the most expensive gun to rent here. Basically you are shooting at the target paper like this. Champ's Bowling Centre, Sandakan

Not really much entertainment in Sandakan even though they are just beside the sea. No nice beach for water activities and the nearest island like Pulau Selingan and Turtle Island are about 90 minutes away. As for the town itself, basically is this bowling centre called Champ's which has a very nice and good condition bowling alley, bowling shoes and bowling bowls if to compare with bowling centres like in KL.  Not very big at all for their bowling centre which only has 12 lanes. Their shoes look so new! Here is a demonstration on how to bowl. Looks pro...I wonder how is the end result. So what do guys think? Is it a strike? They have a lounge here as well. And a cafe too! The price of the bowling is cost at RM4.80 per game per pax. We went at their most peak hours so their price basically has not much different than our KL City price. Have you ever stay in a Durian Farm before? No? At Bao Sheng Durian Farm, you can do it! This 6.7 acres durian farm has been established in Balik Pulau since 1959. It really took them full 60 years to get the fruit of their hard work. Their villa is well equipped with air-con, hot shower and LCD TV with hundreds of Blu-Ray quality movies in it! They have existing queen size or king size bed and extra bed can be requested. To get close and personal with the King of Fruit...the accommodation charges will be Deluxe Villa is charged at RM280/night and standard villa will cost you RM180/night. They only have 1 Deluxe Villa and 2 Standard Villa only. So it is very easy to be fully booked during the durian season. Kedai Makan Sek Me Choy, Salak Selatan

The first time I had my first black pepper Bak Kut Teh was at Sandakan. I never know there is one at Kuala Lumpur. I got to know it from Axian from his TV Programme, "Taste with Jason". The name of the restaurant is Kedai Makan Sek Me Choy. Even they have a space of three shop lots, their seats are still fully occupied. In the past, they were doing mining business. This is their old mining machine which they still keep it very well. Vegetable Rice @RM2.00 - You should try their vegetable which is very tasty. It is just cost RM1.00 more than their normal white rice. Kedai Kopi Lotus, Kota Kinabalu

Kota Kinabalu doesn't have huge hawker center like you will see in Peninsular Malaysia or Kuching but I have to reckon that the best hawker center in Kota Kinabalu is in Kedai Kopi Lotus. Kedai Kopi Lotus themselves do serve their own food which was very terrible and beyond edible state. So do not eat anything from this restaurant. You just pick the stalls beside this restaurant. There are 4 stalls which I will introduce one by one to you but the only stall which will not be introduced is the stall which is selling Guo Tie ( a kind of dumplings) -  not my favorite. The best and the most popular stall of all is this chicken wing stall. Everyone is there lining up for them either taking away or dining there. You may need to wait for 15-20 minutes for it. Merlion Park, Singapore

Driving in Singapore is really a pain especially the traffic congestion, parking hunting and speed cameras alert which is seems like everywhere. As for parking, weekdays parking is like vampire sucking all your money out from your wallet when the clock keeps ticking. Not just parking but their ERP toll is sucking the money out of your Autopass card too. However, I have realized that the best days to travel to Singapore is on weekends and especially on Sunday. ERP toll is free on Sundays. Parking rate are cheaper on Sundays and there are places are free parking too. Not much cars and peoples on the street on Sundays. Sunday is just perfect day at Singapore! Of course, if you plan to eat their buffets, Sunday will be not a suitable day as it will be super expensive. At Kota Kinabalu, you may find Sheng Rou noodle is very common and famous among the local especially this Kedai Kopi Jia Siang which has a lot of customers roaming to their restaurant from day to night. Since they have a crowd like this, I have to make my point for it. Complimentary tofu for each ala-carte order. Tsate normal for me because I prefer a hot tofu. Japanese Tea House & Botanical Garden, Bukit Tinggi

What else you can do at Bukit Tinggi? After you past by the horse riding and rabbit farm, you will see a tol alike place where they will collect entrance fee. The charges are: Weekdays: RM10/pax (adult), RM8/pax (child) Weekends: RM12/pax (adult), RM10/pax (child) *child is 4-12 years old. Once you pay the entrance fee, you are able to access Japanese Tea House, Botanical Garden and Colmar Tropicale. Once you past by the tol alike, you will be facing a T junction where on your left is to Japanese Tea House and Botanical Garden while on your right is to Colmar Tropicale. Today, I will share with you the road to the left which are Japanese Tea House and Botanical Garden. It is a very curvy and steep road to this Japanese Tea House.
