Restoran Han Woo Ri Garden @Korean Village, Ampang

Image
Living in so called Korean Village at Ampang but never even once post any Korean food in Korean Village. This time I have made a point by visiting one of the many Korean restaurants here. The restaurant name is called Restoran Han Woo Ri Garden. They have the most attractive interior design compare with other restaurants. This is the restaurant name in Korean. The translation in case you don't understand Korean. My special guest for today! Their side dishes are not that impressive though. Their charcoal. They have a different suction compare with other Korean Restaurant. The suction is at the middle. And it is suck to the bottom of the table. I think it is better this way so their ceiling will not turn brownish in the long run. Let's start our first meat for BBQ.  Mok Sal @RM25.00++ ready on the grill. Almost ready... Cut into smaller piece Now it is ready to eat. Outlook: 3/5 Creativity: 3/5 Taste: 4/5 Price: 4/5 Over

Meeples European Boardgame Cafe @SS15

Image
When is the last time I play a card game or a board game (excluding poker cards)? I seriously cannot remember but I remembered that I always enjoy it all the time. Lately thanks to this sudden trend, we have a platform to play board games and card games again! Meeples European Boardgame Cafe is one of the successful cafe that introduce such platform to us. Our teenage life is never that bored again after being limited to cybercafe, karaoke, cinema and clubbing. Meaples is located at SS15 which is a walking distance from INTI College. Let's get the game started! Oh by the way, you will be charged RM5.00/hour per pax. No drinks or tidbits included. We started off with a memory game called "Chicken Cha Cha Cha" . This is not a bad game which requires 2 - 4 players with the playing time less than 15 minutes per game depending the players. If the players has good memories, the games will finish way even faster. However, it is not a very addictive game. You will easi

Hon Kee Porridge @Petaling Street

Image
The best porridge I had so far is at Hon Kee Porridge which is located at Petaling Street. This place is not really new to everyone anymore as their name has been made in the TV food shows too. They have 6 outlets selling their famous porridge. The others are in a shop and much more cleaner than this one which is in an attap stall. They have started their business since 1949 and originated from Petaling Street before spreading out to other branches. The great thing is even though they start to be commercialized but their quality is still tip-top! Today, I have my girl to accompany for our morning breakfast. The only shot i am able to take on the stall as they restricted us from taking photos of their stall. Maybe we might taken the photo of their secret recipe. Their porridge, very smooth and delicious, Even a plain porridge like this can make me want to eat one more bowl. The choices of porridge available are Steamed Chicken Porridge, Raw Sliced Fish with Porridge, Centu

Restaurant Siu Siu @Jalan Robson

Image
A fortnight ago, I promised my sister to have a seafood feast with her mum and dad after my winnings at Genting. Probably you know what I mean by winning. Hehe. Actually that day I was planning to go to Restoran Fresh Seafood Unique 23 which is located at Petaling Jaya. However after I got her parents in my car and on the way to pick up my sister after her class, I got myself stuck in the usual jam at Jalan Syed Putra. My "clever" instinct told me I need to find an alternative road so I will able to pick her up on time as she dislike waiting especially when she is alone. So following my clever "instinct" I made a wrong turn and ended up at Jalan Robson which I started to notice that my clever "instinct" failed me once again. So I had to find a place to make U-turn and somehow, I managed to find a U-turn in front of a seafood restaurant called Restaurant Siu Siu. I saw a great crowds started to roam to this place at 6.30pm only. Straight in my mind thi

My hawker stall adventure continue once again at Wai Sek Kai located along Jalan Sayur Pudu. In front of the Egg Custard stall, there is a stall selling hakka mee but not the normal hakka mee we known of. They called it 大埔面 or in Pinyin is called Da Bu Mian. Da bu is one of the subgroup for Hakka ethnic. This stall famous with their handmade noodles and even their Loh Shu Fun is handmade. Yup, as always my princess sister always introduce me the local great hawker stall around. The master chef where they have noodle making at the next stall. Apart of that, the fish noodle at the same location was also as good as well. 大埔面 @RM4.20(m) Outlook: 3/5 Creativity: 4/5 Taste: 3/5 Price: 4/5 Overall: 3/5 - You really need to give the full credit for their handmade noodles especially loh shu fun. Very delicious. However, the cha siew for me is so-so only but the wan tan is delicious but kinda too tiny for me to really enjoy it. LOL Anyway, this stall always had his crowd no
